Domaine des Grandes Côtes, heaven for Glamping in the Allier
Located in Target, the Domaine des Grandes Côtes campsite is an establishment specialising in Glamping (a contraction of the words camping and glamour), a mode of outdoor tourism, which has gone down the unusual route, by offering out-of-the-ordinary accommodation combining luxury and nature, and comfort and respect for the environment. These holiday rentals have been established in a 45-hectare park, located between Moulins, Vichy and Montluçon in the Allier department...
An outdoor establishment perfect to recharge your batteries in the middle of nowhere in the Allier department
The leading feature of the Domaine des Grandes Côtes campsite, is the unusual accommodation, such as the timber lodges and yurts, the latter luxuriously fitted out to accommodate 4 to 8 people, depending upon the design. You can also stay in a wooden barrel with chestnut tree tiles, and copper gutters, in a cosy, romantic atmosphere or even in a safari lodge tent, spacious and fully equipped canvas accommodation.
This establishment also has an indoor, heated pool with sunloungers running alongside to relax and read. For even more relaxation, treat yourself to a “Massothermie” session, a “hands-free” concept, which enables you to massage the entire body whilst lying down, without needing a professional massage therapist. A blend of Asian know-how and infra-red heat, this gives you a deep massage in the quiet atmosphere of a timber chalet.
For something to eat, a snack bar awaits you by the pool. You’ll can also have an apéritif on your accommodation’s terrace, Domaine des Grandes Côtes offering takeaway picnic baskets with a bottle of wine and cook meats board! Not forgetting the Auvergne nights at the Auberge du Verzun bistro, and the Finnish barbecue in a convivial cabin located within the heart of the campsite.
