Located in Landulec, this superb establishment and adjacent leisure park simply await you…
A campsite where the countryside plays a major role
The Domaine de Bel Air opened in 1962. Located in the vicinity of the small village of Landulec, deep in the heart of the Haut Pays Bigouden, this 5-star campsite in Finistère is a quarter of an hour by road from the nearest beach, in the town of Plozévet. The large town of Quimper is 22 kilometres from the campsite, whilst the seaside resorts of Douarnenez, Bénodet and Concarneau are respectively 14, 32 and 47 kilometres away from the campsite.
The grounds in which this renowned establishment in Brittany nestle, extend over 17 hectares of an undulating park, which is superbly landscaped and bordering a lake. Here, the countryside occupies its rightful place and these green surroundings are protected, owing to initiatives undertaken by the campsite. Holder of the Clef Verte label since 2011, the Domaine de Bel Air thus remains respectful of the countryside surrounding it and this willingness is demonstrated by concrete and everyday initiatives such as controlling energy, ecological management of green spaces and water, selective waste sorting, etc.
From the campsite to the farm that was at its origins, the Domaine de Bel Air has been able to transform nowadays into a high-end outdoor establishment, without rejecting its human and family-orientated principles, where everyone can rest, have fun and make the most of a conviviality and remarkable authenticity.
The campsite offers holidaymakers a mix of pitches for tents, caravans and camper vans, as well as mobile home holiday rental accommodation. This is divided into 5 ranges: Classique (Classic), Confort (Comfort), Grand Confort (Luxury), Premium and PMR (Persons with Reduced Mobility). Dependent upon their given layout, they can accommodate between 2 to 7 people, in holiday rentals of between 1 to 3 bedrooms. Please note that this Breton establishment also offers out-of-the-ordinary holiday rentals, Coco Sweet tents, and a Wigwam cabin, the roof of which takes the form of a bubble allowing you to admire the stars in the sky from your bed.
A leisure and water park to both dream and have fun.
One of the major attractions of this Breton campsite is its leisure park. This adjoins the campsite, and extends over 4.5 hectares by a lake. A genuine temple of children’s entertainment, it delights parents with around 50 fun games and structures. There are thus bouncy castles, swings, slides, trampolines, karting, summer toboggan runs, a large pedal wheel, spring games, a turnstile roundabout, a rope bridge, a giant chessboard, not forgetting pedalos on the lake, the petit train (tourist train), and the relaxation area to rest between activities.
A further leading facility on the Domaine de Bel Air campsite is the water park. This occupies a surface area of 1,200 m². Extended and renovated at the beginning of the 2020 season, it comprises a large indoor heated swimming pool, an open-air play lagoon (heated in July and August), 2 paddling pools as well as numerous facilities such as a balneotherapy bench, a rock geyser, water cannons, water slides, including a 4-lane multi-slide 23 metres in length, and a Space Gliss 53 metres long, and other attractions. All in a tropical atmosphere, with palm trees, rocks and sunbeds.
This 5-star Landulec campsite also offers holidaymakers a multitude of fun and sports. The youngsters can in particular have fun by going to the mini-club. This is accessible from aged 4 and upwards, and the campsite's youth leaders organize multiple activities adapted to everyone’s age group, such as dancing or treasure hunts. Activities are also organized for adults, such as aquaerobics sessions, sports muscle stretching and stretching sessions, blind trials, Olympiads, Zumba and others. Come the evening, family quizzes, themed evenings, whether Breton, Disney, Hallowe’en, or the Antilles (Caribbean), are on the menu, and enable everyone to meet up for lovely times together.
