The town of Figueres is located 25 kilometres from there, on the road leading from France to Girona and Barcelona. Closer to the campsite, the medieval village of Sant Llorenç de la Muga is one of the region’s major tourist attractions. Hardly 7 kilometres from the Bassegoda Park campsite, this village accommodates behind its ramparts and fortifications numerous curiosities, such as its church, windmill and even its old stone bridge.
The campsite upon which this establishment is located, is at the heart of a verdant haven of peace and greenery, running alongside the Muga river, a delightful water course with its source in Albanyà and which flows, 58 kilometres further downstream, into the Mediterranean at the Gulf of Roses.
Wooded to perfection, Bassegoda Park is a campsite with a multitude of benefits. There is a multitude of pitches intended to accommodate campers and their equipment on-site. Campers can choose from various types of pitches on offer to them, the Premium pitches being both the best equipped and the most spacious, since they all have a minimum surface area of 100 m².

This campsite also has a varied range of holiday rental accommodation which divides up the area set aside between various types of mobile homes and wooden chalets. Luxury and well-equipped these holiday rentals, dependent upon their layout, can accommodate from 2 to 7 people. You should note that no pets are allowed in these holiday rentals.
On-site, a multitude of services are offered and are intended, as far as possible, to make holidaymakers’ lives and comfort easier. For example, they can go to the campsite supermarket so as to shop and buy everyday items It is worth noting that the town of Figueres, accessible in barely half an hour by road, abounds in shops and hypermarkets for you to do your shopping!
Also located at the Bassegoda Park campsite there are various leisure equipment items and leisure facilities, such as the aquatic park, consisting of a lovely egg-shaped swimming pool! The depth of this varies so as to offer children the perfect conditions to discover the delights of water, and for adults to swim as they may intend to. Open from June to September, the swimming pool of this campsite, nestled between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean, is surrounded by a solarium. Close to the pool, the bar terrace offers a splendid view across the Bassegoda massif (an impressive mountain range)

This campsite also has a games room equipped with billiards, table football and many other games besides! Teenagers feel at home, whilst the very young can join the children’s club on the campsite. A daily programme of play and entertainment activities are on offer to them, and children who wish to can also enjoy themselves due to various playgrounds scattered across the campsite (having a bouncy castle, an outdoor playground facility and other amenities).
An area entirely given over to sports has also been fitted out at the Bassegoda Park campsite. There are several multi-sports grounds on the campsite, on which it is possible to play basketball, football, handball and other sports. Lastly, there is also a 12-hole crazy-golf course accommodating holidaymakers and their children on the campsite.
During the summer season, the Bassegoda Park campsite becomes the setting for a multitude of activities and entertainment, these taking place both during the day as well as in the evening. From the karaoke evening to Hawaiïan parties, there is something for all tastes and ages.
