The campsite Le Pré Lombard is located on the near outskirts of Tarascon sur Ariège, 600 metres away from the city centre and at the edge of the Ariège River. It lies on a 3.5-acres property surrounded by mountains, and dominated by the walls and the clock tower of the town.
This 4-star exceptional establishment, at 80 kilometres from Andorra and Spain, welcomes campers in quite exceptional conditions. They can install their equipments on one of the 100 pitches or stay in one of the 115 rentals of the property.
Since the Lombard troops (where the name of the campsite comes from) of Charlemagne took a rest here, before leading battle against the Saracens in 788, it is obvious that the site is perfect for relaxing and lounging, Today, much of the property is covered with trees and greenery is all around, so the pitches, with surfaces ranging from 80 to 100 m², are shady and well separated from each other, increasing the intimacy.
