Fully equipped, the mobile homes consist of 2 or 3 bedrooms, 1 or 2 bathrooms, a living area and a kitchenette. Furthermore, all are equipped with a terrace, which enables you to enjoy life in the great outdoors during your holiday in the Périgord.

There are numerous leisure facilities within this 5-star campsite in the Dordogne. Renowned for being the largest in the Périgord, the Le Grand Dague aquatic complex consists of several swimming pools for pleasure swimming and serious swimming, an area for aquatic games dominated by the replica of a pirate ship with a mini-water slide, water slides including a rubber-ring water slide, a 2-lane multi-slide and others. Enthusiasts can also relax in the Jacuzzi of the lagoon swimming pool and get a tan by settling on to one of the numerous sunloungers on the sunbathing areas running alongside the pools.
Amongst the other campsite facilities, we should mention the presence of a multi-sports ground, several children’s play areas, petanque grounds, ping-pong tables, a trampoline and others. Close to the site holidaymakers, and notably the youngest of them, can take advantage of a treetop adventure course, a riding school and even a paintball field.

There is no shortage of activities within the Le Grand Dague campsite. All season, qualified activity leaders look after young children and teenagers in the campsite’s free mini-clubs. Three on-site mini-clubs are present offering the very young activities thought out for their age group, such as sports tournaments, creative workshops and even “mini-disco” evenings. Teenagers can join the Teens club where they can indulge in sporting challenges, outdoor games and themed evenings.
Furthermore, in the mornings one of the swimming pools accommodates holidaymakers during aquaerobics sessions. The evening is the perfect time to create unforgettable holiday memories by attending games and themed evenings as a family. Lastly, the reception staff offer tourist advice and recommendations to those wishing to make the most of the campsite location to go off and explore the surrounding area.
In the surrounding area, there are many ideas for trips out and tourist activities. From the unusual descent of the Isle river in a gabare (traditional flat-bottomed boat) to canoeing on the Dordogne river including a visit to Périgueux and its medieval alleyways; the department is one of the loveliest in France. A department which, in addition, has nearly 200 kilometres of designated trails, enabling access to charming villages, magnificent castles and even prehistoric caves.
