In respect of Personal Data collected when creating a given User’s personal account, and such User’s Site navigation, the Data Controller is: SARL Vacances Vues du Ciel, the publisher of the Campings.Luxe website. Campings.Luxe is represented by Mr Vincent Hossard, being its legal representative.

As the Data Controller for the data it collects, Campings.Luxe commits to comply with the legal framework in force at any time. In particular, Campings.Luxe is responsible to the Customer for establishing the purposes of its data processing activities, providing customers and prospective customers, once their consent has been obtained, with full information upon the processing of their personal data. Campings.Luxe also has responsibility for maintaining an accurate record of data processing activities. Each time Campings.Luxe processes Personal Data, it takes all reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the Personal Data, having regard to the purposes for which Campings.Luxe is processing such data.

Campings.Luxe may process all or part of any data:

• to enable Site navigation and management and traceability of services ordered by the User: connection data and Site usage data, invoicing, order history etc.;
• to prevent and fight IT fraud (spamming, hacking…): hardware used for navigation, IP address, (alphanumeric) password;
• to improve Site navigation: connection and usage data;
• to conduct optional customer satisfaction surveys on Campings.Luxe: surname, forename, gender, e-mail address;
and
• to conduct marketing campaigns (SMS, e-mail): telephone number, e-mail address.

Campings.Luxe does not sell your personal data which is therefore only used where essential or for statistical and analytical purposes.

Pursuant to the European regulations currently in force, Users of the Campings.Luxe website have the following rights:

• the right of access (Article 15 GDPR) and rectification (Article 16 GDPR), updating, completeness of Users’ data, and the right to have their personal data blocked or erased (Article 17 GDPR), when it is incorrect, incomplete, ambiguous, out of date, or if its collection, use, communication or storage is prohibited;
• the right to withdraw consent at any time (Article 13-2c GDPR);
• the right to restrict the processing of Users’ data (Article 18 GDPR);
• the right to object to the processing of Users’ data (Article 21 GDPR);
• the right to data portability in respect of data provided by Users, when this data is subject to automated processing based upon their consent or upon a contract (Article 20 GDPR); and
• the right for Users to specify the fate of their data after their death and to decide to whom Campings.Luxe should or should not send their data, including a previously designated third party.

As soon as Campings.Luxe becomes aware of the death of a User and in the absence of any instructions from the User, Campings.Luxe commits to destroying their data, unless the retention of such data proves necessary for evidential purposes or to fulfil a legal obligation.

If the User wishes to know how Campings.Luxe uses their Personal Data, request rectification thereof or object to the processing of such data, the User may contact Campings.Luxe in writing at the following address:

In this case, the User must indicate the Personal Data which they wish Campings.Luxe to correct, update or delete, by clearly identifying themselves with a copy of an identity document (identity card or passport).

Requests for deletion of Personal Data will be subject to obligations imposed upon Campings.Luxe by law, in particular with regard to storage or archiving documents. Lastly, Users of the Campings.Luxe website may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authorities, and in particular the French data protection agency the CNIL - Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (https://www.cnil.fr/fr/plaintes).

Campings.Luxe refrains from processing, hosting or transferring Customer Information collected in or to a country located outside of the European Union, or acknowledged by the European Commission as not possessing an “adequate” level of data protection, without informing the Customer in advance. Nevertheless, Campings.Luxe is free to select its technical and commercial data processors, provided that they produce sufficient guarantees consistent with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR: no. 2016-679).

Campings.Luxe commits to taking all necessary precautions to protect the security of Information and in particular that the latter is not sent to unauthorized persons. However, if Campings.Luxe is notified of an incident which impacts upon the integrity or confidentiality of Customer Information, the company must inform the Customer as soon as possible and communicate the corrective measures which have been taken to them. Furthermore, Campings.Luxe does not collect any “sensitive data”.

The User’s Personal Data may be processed by subsidiaries of SARL Vacances Vues du Ciel and data processors (service providers), exclusively to achieve the purposes of this policy.

Within the limits of their respective remits and for the purposes mentioned above, the main individuals likely to have access to Campings.Luxe Users’ data are principally our Customer Service department’s agents.

Data is stored for a period which does not exceed that necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:

• so as to manage subscriptions to our newsletter, data will be stored for as long as the subscription is active and all data will be immediately and automatically deleted when a User cancels their subscription;
and
• other data will be stored for a period of 2 years.

SARL Vacances VDC strives to implement all practical precautions to protect the confidentiality and security of personal data processed and prevent it being distorted, damaged, destroyed or unauthorised third parties having access to the said data.

Technical and organizational security measures complying with the relevant state-of the-art technology, in particular those relating to information systems, have been instituted.

However, SARL Vacances VDC cannot control all the risks linked to Internet operation and draws Users’ attention to the existence of potential risks inherent in both Internet use and operation.
