The Dordogne's Périgord, an amazing destination!
There is no doubt that the water park on Les Truffières de Dordogne, one of the best in the Dordogne, remains the most successful campsite facility. With an impressive surface area, it is made up of an indoor section of 380 m² comprising a large 200 m² heated pool, as well as a play pool for young children with its mushroom fountain. Around this pool, adults may take advantage of the benefits of the balneotherapy jets for wonderful moments of unwinding. Also note that around the pools, there are numerous sunbeds for those who love sunbathing.
Regarding sports facilities, Les Truffières de Dordogne has a “city stadium” style multi-sports ground, mini-golf course, archery range, two badminton courts, gym, paintballing site and other facilities. Although some sports activities offered by the campsite's activity team have an additional charge (yoga, dance, paintballing, baton twirling lessons, depending upon instructor availability), the majority are free. The latter include fitness sessions, aqua-dance classes and water polo, pétanque or even beach volleyball tournaments. There is plenty to keep you busy all throughout the day, whilst at the same time youngsters can have a whale of a time at the Children’s club or the Teens club on the Les Truffières de Dordogne campsite. These welcome respectively those aged 4 to 12 and 13 to 17.
Moreover there is a genuine “leisure park” entirely given over to them. This stretches out across a surface area of more than 2,000 m² of fine sands! With its swings, its slide, its sandpit, its spring-loaded games, its mini adventure park, its infernal castle and its 11 slides, as well as its inflatable 78 m² trampoline, this leisure park is a genuine benefit for families with young children!
