Although the layout of this Arcachon Basin campsite around the lake fleetingly evokes Venice, the comparison ends there. On campsite Les Viviers, the shores are sandy beaches end allow users to easily and safely access the water, and are also loved by tourists for indulging in sunbathing.

They may also use these "channels" for sea kayaking to reach the Bassin d'Arcachon or to simply navigate through the campsite, and reach the different places of life. Among these places of life, the water park of les Viviers is one of the most lively areas.

The water park has a surface of 620 m² with a covered and heated swimming pool, two other large and small pools, a hydro massage bench, a giant lagoon with its water slide as well as a brand new 'aqua toon' area, where children can discover the joys of water in a safe way!

Lège Cap Ferret, an ideal holiday resort in the Gironde

Whilst staying on the Les Viviers campsite, tourists enjoy a perfect location to discover the region. From this campsite, situated in Lège Cap Ferret, famous seaside resort of the Bassin d'Arcachon, you can easily reach the main tourist sites in the Gironde.

The Bassin d'Arcachon is obviously one of these, with its oyster parks, famous in the whole of France, but also with its sandbanks and its bird Island making this inland sea one of the most important nature reserves of France.

Around the Bassin d'Arcachon and along the Girondin Coast we find many beach resorts, like Andernos les Bains, Lacanau or Hourtin. They propose many tourist attractions, such as the Aqualand of Gujan Mestras, a resort located South of the Bassin d'Arcachon.

Also nearby lies the famous Dune of Pilat, with its 110 meters the highest sand dune in Europe. From the top of this dune, it is possible to enjoy a magnificent view on the Bassin, but also on the Landes Forest and the snow-capped peaks of Basque country.
