There are several pedestrian areas comprised of high-end accommodation on the campsite. If you prefer an in-between option, there are two types of well-equipped lodge (but without heating).
Once settled in, head for the campsite water park. This is perfect for sun-drenched afternoons. It is fully heated and consists of a large indoor swimming pool, and an outdoor section with a lagoon, lazy river, therapy benches, paddling pool and water garden so the young can have fun safely. If you wish to read your book or get a tan by the water, comfortable sunloungers are available. Away from this, you’ll be able to make the most of the peace in the Zen swimming pool, set aside for those over 18.

The very young can also make the most of a lovely play area, to meet up with friends and make up all kinds of extraordinary stories. For sports enthusiasts, a range of facilities are on hand, to do various forms of exercise. There is also a bar and sweet treats area with a terrace, performance area for entertainment, as well as an à la carte wellness centre (osteopath, hairdresser, masseuse, nail bar and more).
On-site, an external supplier allows you to hire bikes, to take advantage of the region’s superb cycle paths. You can hire baby kits and borrow board games. During your stay on Camping Club Médoc Plage, head off to explore the wonders of the Gironde. Not far from the campsite, the Cordouan lighthouse is amongst these treasures. Recently listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this symbol of the Médoc is only accessible by boat. A further must-see is the Lagune de Contaut nature reserve, having lagoon wetlands.
Lastly, a stay on this establishment would be inconceivable without a visit to a vineyard in the region! In the Médoc, the vineyards are legion. Yet each wine château has its own distinctive feature. Make the most of a multitude of possible tours to discover some of them and take part in tasting sessions…but don’t forget, even in the Médoc, wine should be consumed in moderation!
