On this 4-star Gironde campsite, there is no doubt that you are in highly delightful surroundings. The high, lush trees give off the sweet scent of pines established on the paths of the campsite. Here, you’ll enjoy the peace and bird sounds, and have only one thought in mind: recharging your batteries.
On the Campéole Médoc Plage campsite the stay goes off, as guests wish, in pitches or holiday rentals. The camping and caravanning pitches are all in the Confort (“Comfort”) range. They always enjoy space and greenery, and an electrical connection. As regards accommodation, there is something for everyone. You’ll be spoilt for choice with the Standard, Confort (Comfort), Premium, Signature and Signature & Spa ranges. If you prefer an in-between option, there are two types of well-equipped lodge (but without heating). Moreover, in 2023, a new pedestrian area consisting of high-end accommodation will emerge.
Once comfortably settled in, head for the campsite's water park. This is perfect for sun-drenched afternoons. Opened in 2022, it is entirely heated and consists of a large indoor swimming pool (with new children’s games in 2023), and an outdoor part with a lagoon, counter-current aqua trail, therapy benches, paddling pool and water garden so the young can have risk-free fun. If you wish to read your book or get a tan by the water, comfortable sunloungers are available.

The very young can also make the most of a lovely play area, to meet up with friends and make up all kinds of extraordinary stories. For those most fond of sports, numerous facilities are on hand for various physical activities. These include the multi-sports ground for football, basketball and handball tournaments, ping-pong table, for wild table tennis games or even the volleyball court, for competitions as a family or with friends. So pétanque lovers don’t worry, there is of course a dedicated court for you on Médoc-Plage! In 2023, the campsite now has a mini-golf course, new bouncy castles, tennis and padel tennis courts and archery range.
After a day making the most of the swimming pool or recreational and sports facilities, what a delight to be able to sit down on the terrace and enjoy a cool drink. After entertainment with apéritif games, you can go to the restaurant on this Gironde campsite (refurbished in 2023). A delicious evening meal awaits you here. On-site, an external supplier gives you the chance to hire bicycles, to take advantage of the superb cycle paths in the region. Baby kits can be hired, and board games are available on loan. Moreover, three children’s clubs and a teens’ club are open in the school holidays, on this Vendays-Montalivet campsite. Craft activities, creative workshops, team games, mini disco are on the menu for the holiday…A teenagers’ club accommodates those aged 13-17. During your stay on the Campéole Médoc Plage campsite, go off to explore the wonders of the Gironde. Not far from the campsite, the Cordouan lighthouse is amongst these treasures. Recently listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this symbol of the Médoc is only accessible by boat. A further must-see is the Lagune de Contaut nature reserve, having lagoon wetlands.
