Wellness, relaxation and fun
Once settled on their pitch or in their rental, the residents of Lou Pignada campsite can finally start their holiday, and they often start by jumping in the water! A good idea, as there is a great water park in the middle of the property. Perfectly adapted for the whole family to have fun in and on the water, the campsite's water park consists of two outdoor pools and two paddling pools, whose temperature is tempered at 25° C, one indoor pool heated at 28° C, a spa and three water slides.
Among the other camping facilities, there's a wellness and a fitness area, including a sauna and a fitness/bodybuilding room, various sports fields and a playground for children.
Kids as well as teens can join the two clubs of the campsite. Youth leaders organize daily during the season playful and varied activities... allowing parents some respite during the day before attending the shows and concerts organized in the evening!
The countryside campsite by the sea
Although officially located in the commune of Messanges, the Lou Pignada campsite is nevertheless located in the vicinity of the seaside resort of Vieux Boucau les Bains, the latter’s town centre and beaches being about 15 minute’s walk away.
Famous beach resort of the Landes coast, Vieux Boucau les Bains concentrates many tourist attractions, and the tourists can also enjoy the traditional villages around Lou Pignada: Messanges, but also Soustons and its lake, Moliets and Maa, Soorts Hossegor and Capbreton whose beaches are popular surf spots.
The Côte d'Argent, extending from the Gironde tip until the Basque country, is one of the most beautiful coasts in France, with its large sandy beaches, separating the Atlantic Ocean from the Landes Forest, which in fact is the largest forest in Western Europe.
The many trails that run through this forest allow cyclists to reach different places of the Landes and hikers to picnic in the shade of oaks and maritime pine trees that compose this green lush environment.
Famous for its gastronomy, the Landes Department is also known for its art of living and its sense of hospitality and amusement. Thus, there are many village festivals during the summer in the Landes and the cities of Dax and Mont de Marsan organize every year ferias. Their reputation goes well beyond the regional borders...
