Camping at the heart of the forest, a verdant paradise for young and old alike
Initially, you will fall under the spell of the water complex (with lifeguards) of the camping village, comprised of a swimming pool, a heated pool, a paddling pool and an “Aquatower”, for the delight of the very young. Older children will explode with laughter, on the water slide and the multi-slides, whilst enthusiasts of idleness will bask on one of the shaded sunbeds of the sunbathing area.
Children will be delighted to make new friends in one of the 3 mini-clubs given over to them, run by a passionate and creative activity team. According to their age, they will be able to freely make the most of the activities offered in the Bubbles Playroom for those aged 1 to 4, the Pirate Club for those aged 5 to 9, or the Barracudas Club, for those aged 10 to 14. A playground comprised of wooden play facilities, will delight your little ones, and who knows maybe they will by chance come across one of the famous mascots of this campsite in the Landes.
Older children are not left out! A multitude of activities will be proposed for you, to complement your stay. In the daytime as in the evening, the cheerful activity leaders of Les Dunes de Contis, offer you sports tournaments, team games, outdoor fitness classes, cabaret shows and dance evenings.
An idyllic setting for holidays in harmony with the countryside
As regards accommodation, you can pitch your tent or park your camper on vast and wooded pitches. Alternatively you may opt for the comfort of mobile homes from the “Esprit”, “Elégance” or “Excellence” range with an equipped kitchen, bathrooms, and up to 3 bedrooms to accommodate couples, young famillies, large tribes and groups of friends.
You will be able to concoct delicious summer dishes in your mobile home, or cook grills on your barbecue.
From the campsite, there is a cycle track, both shaded and marked out, which leads you directly through the pine forest, to the town of Contis, its lighthouse and its magnificent fine sandy beaches. If you do not like pedalling, a free shuttle bus makes it possible to travel the 4 kilometres that separates you from the Atlantic Ocean. Once there, you will be able to happily swim, bask in the sun on the beach, enjoy an ice cream and admire the sunset. For sports enthusiasts:

You can take a stroll in Biarritz, in the neighbouring Pays Basque (Basque Country), shop, visit the “Centre de la Mer” (a sea life centre) and its 50 aquariums, have a drink, sample tapas on the terrace and, of course, have your fill of the Basque Country culinary specialities.
Or conquer the highest dune in Europe, and hurtle down the 102 metres of sand on the Dune du Pilat. Take advantage of this to visit the delightful Arcachon Basin, the cabins on stilts of the Ile aux Oiseaux island, and the oyster basins. On your return, go to the village of Cap Ferret, and go back to the campsite with a head full of landscapes, and a smile on your lips.
