A campsite by the Etang de Cazaux lake
This Sanguinet campsite offers its holidaymakers a charming, peaceful and exotic setting for a family holiday. Offering high-end accommodation and top quality pitches, this can also be distinguished by its unique geographical location by the Etang de Cazaux et de Sanguinet lake, and is less than a kilometre on foot from the Sanguinet town centre and shops.
Little brother to the Sandaya Sanguinet Plage campsite, this establishment stretches over a surface area of 10.6 hectares. However, the accessible surface area is even greater still as there is no physical separation between the two campsites. Hence by staying on one, holidaymakers can take advantage of the other. Recreational and sports facilities, activities and entertainment, everyone can make the most of what they wish to, as they see fit!
Wooded and lush, the campsite houses comfortable holiday rentals, both modern and well equipped. There are in particular the Premium Cottages, able to accommodate up to 4 or 6 persons over surface areas of 33 or 40 m², with respectively two or three bedrooms. The Cottages are the most high-end on the site, but you also find on-site Cottages with 3 and 4 shellfish (equating to star ratings), whose comfort is unquestionable! The site also has camping and caravanning pitches, with a minimum surface area of 80 m², having a 10 amp electrical socket.
Facilities for the entire family
The water park of the Lac de Sanguinet campsite is ideally suited to families looking for a tranquil location to cool down. The recreational pool is ideal for completing a few strokes or for simply getting a tan. A second pool is specially adapted for children, who can thus splash about and play in complete safety. All around the swimming area, comfortable sunloungers have been set up, and are enjoyed by holidaymakers wishing to perfect their tan.
The convivial atmosphere of this Sanguinet campsite is felt throughout the day and especially during the various activities which take place here. We thus maintain, throughout the entire day, a great programme of sports and leisure activities. Around the lake, there is no shortage of activities either: fishing, canoeing, kitesurfing, water skiing…There are 1001 ways to make the most of the largest lake in the Landes! Holidaymakers can also set up on the lovely sandy beach, which runs alongside the campsite to swim.
Come the evening, the atmosphere is equally delightful and numerous families sit down on the terrace of the bar-snack bar-restaurant, to contemplate the sunset over the lake. The menu offers cool drinks and superb cocktails but also pizzas, burgers, regional dishes and French charcuterie boards (cooked cold meats and cheese)…A real delight for the taste buds! To perfect the evening, entertainment is offered for children and adults alike, and all meet up around a concert, a disco evening and even a magic show…
A holiday by the largest lake in the Landes
Numerous services are offered by this campsite. For example, the Lac de Sanguinet campsite has a barbecue area, a library, an outlet selling bread and sweet breads and buns, such as brioches, croissants and pains au chocolat. There is also a laundry, Wi-Fi coverage, and even a bicycle hire service. Moreover, there are no less than three mini-clubs on-site, to accommodate those aged 5 to 7 at the Kids Club, those aged 8 to 12 at the Juniors Club, and those aged 13 to 17 at the Teens Club.
When children and teenagers are in the good hands of the campsite, this can be the opportunity for parents to treat themselves to a moment together, during a tourist visit. Michel and Jacqueline Kubiak’s garden in Saint Paul en Born is the perfect place to take advantage of a genuine moment of peace, by discovering numerous varieties of flowers, all equally beautiful. The Musée des Traditions et de l’Histoire (Museum of Traditions and History) in Biscarrosse is also a must-see tourist attraction! This offers visitors the chance to go for a walk in the marshes, to discover the heritage and history of the Landes.
The perfect position of the Lac de Sanguinet campsite also enables holidaymakers to make the most of one of the loveliest coasts in France: the Côte d’Argent (from the Gironde estuary to Bayonne)! Fine sandy beaches as far as the eye can see, sometimes impressive waves for surfers…The landscapes offer an unforgettable panorama from the Dune du Pyla sand dune to the Pays Basque (Basque Country).
