Running alongside the Lac de Léon lake, the Le Col Vert campsite has made the most of this location when developing its shores, offering its guests 2 superb sandy beaches enabling swimming in optimal conditions in fresh water. There is also a leisure base where tourists can hire surfboards, canoes and catamarans.
On top of the lake and the Atlantic Ocean, just a few steps away from the campsite, the guests can also swim in the water park of Le Col Vert. It is composed of an indoor area, heated to 28° C, with a 120 m² pool and a paddling pool for the kids, and an outdoor part with a 200 m² pool and an aqua fun zone for the youngest. Finally, the water park has an area with inflatable games open to the 2 to 6 years old.

This establishment, settled on the shores of Lake Léon, in Veille Saint Girons, is an ideal base from where you can discover the local treasures. Starting with the National Nature Reserve of the Huchet stream, 618 acres of unspoilt nature longing the eponymous River, whose course serves as an outlet to Lake Léon, flowing then into the Atlantic near Moliets et Maâ.
The Côte d'Argent, nickname given to the coast covering most of the Aquitaine Coast, consists of a succession of fine sand beaches and a dune strip separates them from the Landes Forest. This is the largest forest in Western Europe. Countless cycle paths wind through it and you can bike with the family to join the coast, the villages and the cities of the Department.
