Wishing to copy the delightful atmosphere of the surrounding fishing villages, this Rab campsite is equipped with the “Marine Village”, an area of 32 mobile homes each equally comfortable, which makes their occupants happy. Able to accommodate up to 6 people, these are equipped with 2 bathrooms and a large terrace of 25 m², enabling you to fully make the most of the green site. Outside of this small village, various holiday rentals are also available. Equally as comfortable, they also offer high range facilities. On the beach next to the Valamar Padova campsite, it is in particular possible to book a sunlounger, to make the most of the abundant Croatian sunshine and the breathtaking view over the old town of Rab. The water, clean and crystal-clear, delights swimmers. Holidaymakers can have fun by doing canoeing or going on pedalos. This Banjol campsite also has a lovely water park. It enables you to swim in water heated to 28°C! This comprises a swimming pool, given over to swimming and relaxation, and a water play area for children.
On site, the team at the Valamar Padova also offer you multiple games, activities and entertainment. Perfect for those who wish to remain active during their holiday, the “Stay fit” is a daily sports programme suitable for all levels. The latter particularly includes pool activities, fitness classes, outdoor activities, training and sports tournaments. The very young can amuse themselves and have fun at the Maro Club! Accommodating children aged 3 to 7 and those aged 7 to 12, 2 mini-clubs are open for a minimum of 6 hours per day. Within these, children can take part in a multitude of creative, craft and play activities.
The eating facilities offering on this establishment is on a par with its other facilities. This has notably happened with the “Andréa” restaurant, where it is possible to discover numerous culinary specialities and local wine. Always very lively, “Petrac” is a further restaurant located on the beach adjoining the campsite. Having a leading location and offering a delightful panorama over the historic town centre of Rab, there is a large range of cool drinks, either with or without alcohol. Come evening, entertainment and concerts are in particular offered on-site.
With a significant historic and cultural heritage, the island of Rab is sought after by tourists, who particularly enjoy its variety of landscapes. Delightful and authentic, the medieval town centre of the eponymous town is a must-see tourist attraction. Its little period alleyways, the port and its buildings such as the Gagliardi Tower or the Dominis Nimira Palace are surprisingly well preserved. Moreover, the island is surrounded by magnificent beaches offering holidaymakers the chance to indulge in multiple water sports activities, such as scuba diving, jet skiing or even stand-up paddle boarding. One of the few sandy beaches in Croatia, the Rajska plaža beach (or “Paradise Beach’) guarantees a most delightful moment of idleness, being surrounded by numerous bars, restaurants and children’s games.
