A campsite where all possible superlatives apply.
It is at Cavallino Treporti, one of the most famous and dynamic seaside resorts of the Italian Peninsula, that the Union Lido Mare campsite is located. Occupying grounds of several dozen hectares by the sea, it runs alongside the Cavallino beach, privately owned by the campsite, over a stretch in excess of 1.2 kilometres. Holidaymakers staying within this establishment can also make the most of a vast beach, stretching over nearly 15 kilometres from the gateway to the Venetian Lagoon to the Jesolo Lido. A beach with the Pavillon Bleu rating (confirming it is environmentally-friendly) and upon which we find two play areas for children, inflatable play structures, sunbeds and umbrellas, a lifeguard monitoring post and other facilities and services.
By road, in under an hour you can go to the superb city of Venice but the Union Lido Mare campsite is close to its lagoon, and it is possible go to the Doges Palace far quicker still thanks to the numerous “vaporetti”. These are public water ferries which guarantee that throughout the entire day there is a link between Venice and the Treporti port, a few kilometres from the campsite.
The campsite, green, landscaped and maintained with care is divided into various areas. Within these, you find a choice of spacious pitches (six ranges in total with surface areas ranging from less than 100 m² to nearly 200 m²!), glamping accommodation (including the delightful “The Wild” tents), lodges taking the form of mobile homes, bungalows and chalets (including the luxury and the designer “Home Roof” and “Home Espace”) or indeed the Family Homes apartments. The Art & Park Hotel d’Union Lido Mare offers an entire range of comfortable and lovely bedrooms.
A holiday where you cannot get bored!
A top-of-the-range campsite, Union Lido Mare and its multitude of and varied facilities enable us to respond to all holidaymakers’ needs. The establishment thus has a supermarket, a greengrocer, a newsagent and book shop, a hairdressing salon, a bakery, shops selling tobacco products, clothes and souvenirs respectively, a shop selling personal hygiene products, a photo service, a shoe shop, a Venetian art products shop and other retail units.
On site, you can also enjoy Wi-Fi, a launderette, a church with Catholic and Evangelical services, a first-aid unit, a bicycle hire service, a tourist train running within the campsite grounds and many other services. For something to eat or simply to have a drink with family or friends, the possibilities also appear endless within this campsite! No less than seven restaurants and eleven bars and fast food points are dotted around the Union Lido Mare campsite. To this can be added the Piña Colada Disco Bar, a club where holidaymakers can also enjoy a cocktail during the day in the Lounge Garden area of the discotheque…
As numerous as the services offered by the Union Lido Mare campsite, the leisure equipment and facilities offer holidaymakers a multitude of possibilities for entertainment. For example, the campsite has two impressive aquatic parks. The largest is called Aqua Park Marino, and extends over more than 10,000 m². It is made up of pools of different sizes and depths, seven large thrill-seeker water slides including a Vortex, a wave pool, a wild river, children’s aquatic play facilities, hydromassage beds, swans’ necks and other aquatic facilities…
Aqua Park Marino, the second aquatic area of the campsite, has a semi-Olympic pool, a second swimming pool, Jacuzzis, a children’s lagoon, an aqua-tube river (you go down the course on a rubber ring), three water slides, mushroom sprinklers, as well as a very large sunbathing area.
Leading facilities and activities for the entire family.
To relax, holidaymakers can go to the campsite’s wellness area. Called Marino Wellness & Spa, this enables you to enjoy the benefits of thalassotherapy thanks to the various types of temperature-controlled baths, sensory showers, a sauna, massage rooms and body and face treatments, as well as other facilities.
Located within the immediate proximity of the campsite, the Cavallino Sport Center enables holiday makers to make the most of sports facilities as diverse as they are varied, such as nine tennis courts, an equestrian centre, a football ground with regulation dimensions, an archery range and a competitive dogs’ course.
It is worth noting that you even find a genuine theme park within the campsite! This has various fairground attractions and attractions for children and their parents, who can thus get a good dose of thrill-seeking during their stay at Cavallino Treporti!
The activities team at Union Lido Mare moreover organises various activities throughout the summer, starting with sports tournaments, fitness sessions, themed evenings, musical routines, shows and other activities.
In addition to the games and facilities previously mentioned, the very young can also have fun by joining one of the mini-clubs on the campsite. The Mini-club accommodates those aged 3 to 6, whilst the Maxi-club those 7 to 11, and the Teen-club those aged 12 to 15. Each can blossom with their friends of the same age, and around activities and entertainment adapted to their expectations. A football academy is also open to those aged 5 to 12 on site, and a baby club accommodates the very young aged 18 months to 2 years for free…
