La Clape Village is an outdoor establishment in the Hérault, having seen one of the most radical transformations between 2021 in 2022. This establishment, located by the famous Le Môle beach in Cap d’Agde, has indeed had a significant renovation, and is now one of the most high-end campsites on the Mediterranean coast.
On-site, there are still pitches intended to accommodate tents, caravans, campers and converted vans, including some which are now grouped together into a Premium range, having an individual sanitary block, with a separate private toilet with a lock, sink and fridge. Yet a multitude of holiday rentals have appeared and are now available for rent.
The Cottages Pool cottages are certainly the most high-end. They indeed all have a private swimming pool, ideal for sharing good times just as a family, or with your group of friends. This accommodation, made of timber, blends perfectly with the setting of the grounds, and is equipped with air conditioning. There is also a large terrace and sunloungers. The accommodation in the Cottage Seaview cottage range also has considerable benefits to highlight, amongst them an absolutely amazing sea view!

Although La Clape Village enjoys direct access to the beach, it also has a lovely water park, offering lovers of swimming the choice between the freshwater in the heated swimming pools or the salt water of the Mediterranean. Moreover, water slides as well as an Aquasplash area, enable the very young to have a wonderful time! Lastly, to relax, what better than settling down in the Jacuzzis of the complex.

Discover the Hérault and its treasures from La Clape Village
By staying on La Clape Village, holidaymakers not only have the chance to make the most of leading facilities and accommodation, they can also discover the Hérault. This is a sought-after tourist destination for its beaches and its sunshine, but also for the wealth of its historical, natural and cultural heritage. The seaside resort of Cap d’Agde is a good example of this. There are lovely and large fine sandy beaches, including the superb volcanic basalt black sand beach of La Conque, a must-see spot of the coast with its cliffs favourable to walks, water sports and tourist activities. These are as numerous as they are varied, and there is a wide range of summer entertainment.
The team at the campsite reception is not sparing in tourist advice. The department has a number of must-sees. It is therefore highly recommended to make the most of your stay in the Hérault to discover the Saint Guilhem le Désert village and abbey, the Grotte des Demoiselles cave and the Navacelles cirque. You can also go to the Lac du Salagou lake or even the nine locks of Fonséranes on the famous Canal du Midi…
Within Cap d’Agde, there are numerous recreational activities, such as the Golf International du Cap d’Agde golf course. This has one of the most beautiful greens in the South of France. There is also a brand new tennis centre, mountain bike trails on the Mont Saint Loup former volcano, cycle tracks between the Canal du Midi and the Etang du Bagnas lake, a superb nature reserve rich in biodiversity. The heritage and architectural treasures of the town of Cap d'Agde, a town established by the Greeks, called the black pearl, are also worth a quick look. Agde is indeed the only seaside resort of the Mediterranean coast having this volcanic feature: black buildings in the town centre, the golf course located on one of the visible volcanoes, the La Conque beach is a volcanic crater, the Mont Saint Loup the highest volcano in town...
Lastly, when staying at La Clape, lovers of scuba diving find in Cap d'Agde an acknowledged diving spot throughout the entire Mediterranean. By the campsite, the museum of underwater archaeology (Musée de l’Ephèbe et d’Archéologie Sous-marine de la Ville d’Agde) houses all the treasures discovered offshore. Notably it has the Ephèbe d’Agde (the Youth of Agde), a magnificent bronze statue found in the river waters of the Hérault.
