Camping Domaine de La Dragonnière

A dream campsite for unforgettable holidays

The Domaine de la Dragonnière stretches over in excess of around 30 hectares of a magnificent wooded park which is in flower, located around 10 minutes from the Vias beaches.

This green and perfectly maintained campsite is made up of many plots, enabling campers to pitch their tent or set up their caravan or camper. These pitches have an average size of 100 m² for a maximum capacity of 6 persons. Separated from each other by hedges comprised of shrubs, they can be shaded or semi-shaded and all moreover have an electrical connection and private heated bathroom installations. 

However, the Domaine de la Dragonnière offers also and especially numerous holiday rentals to its guests, taking the form of mobile homes and chalets. In 2019, a new Premium area has been created with top-end mobile homes nestling in an entirely pedestrianised area having a particularly well-kept landscaped layout! It is worth noting that a hotel service is included for the top-end luxury holiday rentals, which means that beds are made on arrival and holidaymakers are not responsible for towels or end-of-stay cleaning.

On-site shops include a supermarket, a bakery, a sweet stall and a beach shop. There are also no less than 4 restaurants; "La Terrasse", "Le Garden Grill", "Le Jack's" and "La Paillotte” (“the straw hut”) and 2 drinking establishments; “Le Havana” and “Le Bodega”.   

Choose from spa, lagoon, swimming pools and sports facilities

As with the holiday conditions, the leisure facilities are also high-end on the Domaine de la Dragonnière campsite. For example, there are 4 superb water parks, being a total of 18,000 m² of aquatic delights! The first of them is "La Cubaine" bringing together, in a tropical backdrop, 4 swimming pools, of which 3 are heated, a multi-slide and a paddling pool equipped with water games for children. In 2019, 2 new water slides have now appeared, a Space slide 70 metres long with a strobe tunnel, as well as a Kamikaze slide (23 metres long)! 

The name of the second is "L'Olympe” (Olympia). In a setting similar to Greek-Roman thermal baths, there is a relaxation pool, a swimming pool with semi-Olypmic dimensions and two paddling pools.

Lastly “Le Lagon” is, as its name indicates, an incredible natural lagoon with a sandy beach. Having an impressive surface area of 10,000 m², this is surrounded by palm trees and does not fail to appeal to lovers of swimming and idleness in the sunshine! 

Another quality facility, the spa offers guests the opportunity for a few wellness moments, thanks to its sauna, steam room, relaxation area, herbal tea room and three treatment rooms, including one that can accommodate two people and is equipped with a balneotherapy spa...…

And what better than sport to make you feel better? This luxury Vias campsite has a fitness/cross fit/street workout area of 500 m² in the open air!

Amongst the many other facilities, there is the multisports ground, a beach volleyball court, a padel tennis court, a badminton court, 3 children’s playgrounds and even the Bodega...a 350 m² activity area!

A perfect position to discover the treasures of the Hérault

The Domaine de la Dragonnière, located in Vias in the Hérault, offers its residents a perfect location to discover the department and its numerous tourist attractions. The first of these is of course the coastline, composed of long sandy beaches. Some of the most famous beach resorts in France were built near these beaches.

We mention for example Narbonne Plage, Valras Plage or even Cap d'Agde, and to get there from the campsite only takes a few minutes. These resorts are home to many restaurants, shops and other tourist attractions that have contributed to making the Hérault coast one of the most frequented coasts of the Languedoc Roussillon.

But the inland also hides some treasures. There's Béziers, at two steps from le Domaine de la Dragonnière. This city features an important historical and cultural heritage, like its cathedral or even the sluices of Fonserannes built on the Canal du Midi.

Other examples are Olargues, Minerve and Saint Guilhem le Désert, three of the most beautiful villages of France you shouldn't miss when you stay on this luxury campsite in the Herault.
