A superb campsite between Vias and the beach
In spring and summer, holidaymakers who wish to stay in Vias can do so on the La Carabasse campsite. As one of the largest open-air hotels in Hérault, this establishment extends over a campsite with an impressive surface area, located halfway between the heart of Vias and the coast and beaches.
Moreover, the closest beach is less than a kilometre from the campsite on foot. No need to take the car to get there as a 10-minute walk enables you to reach it easily! A further attraction linked to La Carabasse’s geographical location, it is close to the theme park, Fabrikus World Vias Plage. This is 500 metres from the campsite entrance, and is the largest permanent amusement park in France. Spread over nearly 7 hectares, no less than 80 semi-permanent attractions await those keen on such activities!
Amongst these, Californian mini-golf, over 5,000 m² within exotic surroundings, and even the karting circuit, guarantee that holidaymakers are able to have fun, without having to leave the La Carabasse campsite.
A wide selection of holiday rentals for constant luxury...
This 4-star Vias campsite accommodates a multitude of holiday rental accommodation. As an open-air hotel, which is member of the Siblu group, specialising in mobile home hire, La Carabasse has no pitches able to accommodate a tent or caravan. Mobile homes which have been established there can accommodate between 2 and 8 people. Well equipped, with a terrace enabling holidaymakers to both take their meals in the open air and access the Wi-Fi network, these holiday rentals guarantee a luxury stay.
On-site, once settled in, holidaymakers will be able to make the most of the multitude of facilities and campsite services. Amongst these, the ‘L’Archipel’ snack bar and ‘L’Atoll’ bar restaurant offer refreshments and meals, to enjoy in a kind and festive atmosphere. The grocery enables you to do your shopping without needing to take your car, whilst it is also possible to benefit within this campsite, from a launderette, an ATM, free access to the Wi-Fi network from the bar, as well as a bicycle hire service.
It is worth noting that the “Confort” (“Comfort”) option, which can be booked when you make your reservation, enables holidaymakers’ lives to be made easier. With this option there is no need to overload your car: sheets, towels and baby equipment are provided by the campsite!
A superb aquatic park and entertainment every evening...
A further service which could not be more popular with holidaymakers, is the La Carabasse children’s clubs. Numbering a total of 3, these clubs are adapted to the age and needs of each child. The very young, for example, can join the Bubbles area (for those aged 1 to 4). Supervised by at least one parent, children can have fun and dress up and develop their artistic flair, using painting and glitter.
The Pirates club takes charge of entertaining those aged 5 to 9, whilst the Barracudas club enables those aged 10 to 14 to indulge in tournaments, jousting fights, theatre plays and other activities. It is also worth noting that several playgrounds have been laid out within the campsite, to enable youngsters to have fun immediately they wish to.
A further solution to enjoy yourself is by going to the La Carabasse aquatic park! A genuine complex set aside for aquatic leisure, this brings together two large pools and a heated paddling pool, and two water slides including an XXL and four-lane multi-slide. Amongst the other campsite facilities, there is a multi-sports ground, a beach volleyball court, a tennis court, an amusement arcade, video games and a billiard room, ping-pong tables as well as an area for playing boules.
Moreover, a well-being area offers holidaymakers the opportunity for a massage during their stay. Lastly, every evening during the high season, various activities are arranged by the campsite team: karaoke, quizzes, cabaret, major shows, themed evenings and other activities. Good humour and fits of the giggles are on the menu in Vias!
