The Camping Les Paludiers, located in Batz sur Mer in the Loire Atlantique region, is a genuine haven of tranquillity, just a stone’s throw from Saint Valentin beach. It has a wide range of holiday rentals and camping and caravanning pitches, designed to meet all holidaymakers’ expectations. The plots occupy a minimum 80 m² surface area, separated by small shrub hedges. The Premium pitches have a Freecamp cabin, including a summer kitchen and private bathroom.

The aquatic area is a major attraction on Les Palaudiers, with the large lagoon swimming pool, and semi-covered, heated swimming pool, for times of relaxation whatever the weather. Both swimming pools have a paddling pool, so young children can paddle safely. You’ll also have all the time in the world to do a few lengths, let off steam during an aqua aerobics session or make the most of the sunshine on one of the sunbathing area’s sunbeds.

In addition to aqua play games, children can have fun on the playground, and with the kids club activity leaders. Meanwhile, adults can make the most of the petanque court, ping-pong tables and outdoor fitness area. For your meals, the snack bar/restaurant accommodates you on the shaded terrace, and a grocery for emergency provisions, as well as a bread delivery service, are on hand to meet your everyday needs. In the high season, convivial activities and entertainment take place in the daytime and evening.
The campsite also enjoys an exceptional location, in Batz sur Mer, with the ‘Petite Cité de Caractère’ label (designating the village’s protected heritage), only 200 metres from Saint Valentin beach. This is a sought-after spot for water sports with the sailing school and swimming in the crystal-clear waters. Moreover, the campsite has a bicycle hire service, to easily explore the surrounding trails, amongst beaches, creeks, small harbours and salt marshes.
Lovers of hiking will enjoy the Le Croisic wild coast, magnificent scenery with sheer cliffs and isolated creeks. The Sentier des Douaniers (Customs Officers’ Path – GR34), which runs along the coast, offers breathtaking views over the ocean, particularly from Le Croisic to Le Pouliguen. This route is perfect for all the family, as being virtually level young and old alike can use it!

The centre of Batz sur Mer abounds in architectural treasures, such as the Saint-Guénolé church, having a panoramic bell tower, offering a breathtaking view over the surrounding area. Nearby. the Musée des Marais Salants (salt marshes museum) offers to immerse you in local culture, with exhibitions on the role of salt-marsh workers and life in salt-producing villages. Strolling through the village streets also enables you to discover traditional houses and an atmosphere typical of southern Brittany.
Around twenty minutes from the campsite, Pornichet wins you over with the seaside atmosphere and numerous activities. The resort is renowned for long sandy beaches, such as Bonne-Source or Les Libraires, ideal for times of relaxation or water sports, examples being catamaran sailing and windsurfing. The marina is a must-see location, perfect for a walk by the sea or boat trip. In the evening, the entertainment continues owing to the numerous restaurants, bars and celebrated Casino which offers a panoramic view over the ocean.
Near Batz sur Mer, Le Pouliguen is a popular destination for the picturesque harbour and authentic atmosphere. For a unique experience, go to Guérande, a medieval town surrounded by ramparts.
