A new member in the Cybèle Vacances group
Located in the village of Les Moutiers en Retz, this establishment is a small friendly family seaside resort on the Côte de Jade (Jade Coast), in the Loire Atlantique near Pornic. In recent years it has enjoyed significant investment to upgrade its facilities, raising the overall standard.
The campsite is 1,200 metres from the Atlantic Ocean and Pré-Vincent beach. It occupies grounds of several hectares, tucked away from the town where peace and nature reign supreme. Holidaymakers who come to stay here can enjoy both the space and tranquillity of the grounds. The pitches are spacious and can accommodate tents, caravans, standard campers and fully fitted camper vans.
All plots enjoy a 16-amp electrical connection and guests take advantage of full Wi-Fi coverage across the entire campsite. The Les Moutiers en Retz campsite, Les Brillas, also has rentals in the form of mobile homes with all mod cons. Moreover they enjoy a covered terrace, featuring stylish garden furniture.
Modern, luxury mobile homes
The Les Brillas campsite also offers numerous mobile homes for hire. The largest of these can accommodate up to 8 guests. Choose from four signature ranges: Quattro, Premium, Féérique and Emotion.
This establishment has an enjoyable aqua park where, under a retractable glass roof, there is a swimming pool, kids pool and mushroom sprinkler. Around the enclosure there is an outdoor sunbathing area with numerous sunbeds. Opposite the swimming pool is the terrace of the bar - restaurant, which offers eat-in or takeaway catering.
Open every day from April to September, it is also home to a bread collection point. We organize themed meals, with a multitude of lively evenings taking place in July and August.
A camping holiday on the Côte de Jade in the Loire Atlantique
Among the campsite’s other attractions, worth noting the multi-sports ground with fitness trail, several petanque courts, ping-pong tables, table football and pool. Here there is a mini farm with rabbits, goats, geese, a pony, etc. A playground with bouncy castles and a trampoline is also on hand for youngsters, who can have fun at the children’s club in July and August. Three times a week during summer, activities and entertainment for teenagers also take place.
Holidaymakers staying on the Les Brillas campsite can make the most of the campsite’s geographical location to go off to explore the wonders of the south of the Loire Atlantique, but also the neighbouring Vendée region. Thus amongst all of the tourist attractions of significance to discover in the vicinity of the campsite are the seaside resort of Pornic, and the wildlife park Planète Sauvage. The latter is France’s largest safari park, located in Port Saint Père, less than half an hour by road from Les Brillas.
We might also mention the Noirmoutier peninsula (a “peninsula” island off the Vendée coast), the Ile d’Yeu island, and the theme parks Legendia Parc (themed around wildlife) and the Parc du Puy du Fou (with the focus upon history), as well as the port town of Saint Nazaire. Its naval shipyards build the largest ocean liners in the world here. The town is home to numerous tourist attractions linked to the world of transatlantic voyages, but also a former submarine base from the Second World War. You can visit Espadon, the first French submarine to have dived below the ice field.
