Riez up - holiday with miles of smiles in Saint Hilaire! The geographical location of this 4-star campsite in the Vendée is exceptional. It allows you to fully make the most of the diversity of landscapes, which this famous seaside resort on the Cote de Lumière offers you. It is less than 10 minutes by bike to reach the beaches, national forest and marshes in St Hilaire de Riez! It is also worth knowing you’re only 10 kilometres from Saint Jean de Monts and Saint Gilles Croix de Vie, two other large seaside resorts on the Vendée coast.

Within this establishment, lovely surprises await you. Riez à la Vie enjoys vast, well-wooded and shaded grounds of 9 hectares. On-site, there are nearly 300 holiday rentals (mobile homes, chalets and bungalows), on offer to holidaymakers. A new range of mobile homes, known as Mahana, offers bright, spacious holiday rentals, equipped with air conditioning and a dish washer for a stay with complete peace of mind.

The first one, being outdoors, consists of a 200 m² heated swimming pool, paddling pool and sunbathing area. The second zone includes an indoor heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi and children’s paddling pool. A sauna and steam room, set aside for adults, are also available. The third new space, outdoors, offers two swimming pools, a swimming river and seven water slides, including one buoy slide, guaranteeing fun and relaxation.

On Riez à la Vie, the activity programme from April to September is varied, and means there is something for everyone! Children aged 4 to 10 make the most of the mini club during the school holidays, with play and creative activities, supervised by qualified activity leaders. Teens have their own club during summer. In the meantime, parents can hire bikes from the campsite, and go off to explore the entire Vendée coast!

This 4-star campsite also has great leisure facilities: a gym, ping-pong tables and pétanque courts. A new games room with table football, pinball and palets (played using discs, rules similar to boules) is open all day. In 2024, a reception area was added as well as a building comprising a bar, restaurant and sports hall. New for 2025, from 1st June you’ll be able to make the most of a new play and sports complex, with play area, bouncy castle and two new multi-sport grounds which will delight young and old alike. A new entirely pedestrianised district will also open on 1st June 2025!

The Riez à la Vie campsite pampers holidaymakers with a full service offering. Have a delicious meal at the campsite snack bar and drink to your holiday, with a delicious cocktail from the bar. Make the most of a new grocery, with bread, sweetbreads and buns and regional produce and products. One thing’s for sure, on this campsite with all modern conveniences in the Vendée, you’ll want for nothing!

Perfectly situated on the Côte de Lumière coast, this campsite enables you to easily discover the treasures of the Vendée. Noirmoutier-en-l'Île (known as Noirmoutier on the eponymous island) is one of the must-see visits! To go there, opt for using the Pont de Noirmoutier bridge, offering a magnificent view over the bay, or the Passage du Gois causeway, a submersible road. Be sure to check the tide times, if you take this last option!

For a day out, head for the landing stage in La Barre de Monts or Saint Gilles Croix de Vie, to explore the Ile d’Yeu island! This island stands out for the heavenly beaches, colourful villages and charming fishing port. On arrival, bikes are available for hire, giving you complete freedom to explore the island. Change of scenery guaranteed!
