La Pignade nestles in the extreme north of the National Forest of La Coubre, a vast pine forest of 8,000 hectares, which separates local towns, from Royan to the south of Les Mathes to La Tremblade. This exceptional campsite is in Ronce les Bains, a tourist and coastal area of La Tremblade, near to the Ile d’Oléron and the Ile de Marennes islands, an oyster-producing region of international renown.
This high-end campsite in Charente Maritime has a total of 487 plots, all being occupied by mobile home rental accommodation. Equipped with a surface area of between 30 and 45 m², with 2 or 3 bedrooms, and 1 or 2 bathrooms, these luxury holiday rentals are all well equipped, and in addition have a terrace, a garden furniture set and air-conditioning.

In Ronce les Bains, its water park will not leave swimmers immune to its charms! This is indeed comprised of a large indoor and heated swimming pool, an outdoor water play area for children, as well as multiple water slides and a multi-slide. In the morning, aquaerobics sessions are arranged in the swimming pool, to remain in shape during your stay. Come the afternoon, swimming is supervised by lifeguards.
Moreover, numerous shows and forms of entertainment are organised in the on-site theatre. Twice a week, residents meet up to attend quality shows. This establishment also has multiple sports and leisure facilities, including a treetop adventure park, an archery range, a video games room, a play area, a mini-golf course, pétanque courts and a multi-sports ground. The latter enables guests to play football, basketball, cricket and hockey.
La Pignade has its own equestrian centre, which enables horse rides or pony rides in the forest, riding courses and evening rides. A further flagship attraction of this establishment is the 4 mini-clubs which enable the very young to have fun, and parents to relax in a carefree way.

Within the Bubbles Playroom, which welcomes the very young, there are a multitude of toys, a ball pool and a sandpit. The Pirate Club invites children to take part in a genuine day as a pirate with team games, sports tournaments, treasure hunts and shows…The third club is given over to the young, who wish to express their artistic talent through drama, singing or even dancing.
The more sports-based and recreational-orientated activities, such as sumo wrestling, water fights, and sports tournaments are an integral part of this club’s programme. Come the evening, challenges and street dance courses are run by the activities’ team. Lastly the teenagers’ clubs offer activities, such as selfie treasure hunts, giant Cluedo games, film shooting and dance evenings.
Exploring the surrounding area is possible thanks the bicycle hire service available at the La Pignade reception. Many cycle tracks run alongside the campsite, crossing the forest and leading to the department’s coastal beaches. Holidaymakers thus have the possibility of discovering the natural protected surroundings of the campsite, between maritime pine trees and sand dunes, with the help of a means of environmentally-friendly transport.
