Sangulí Salou Resort, a dream campsite in Spain
At the heart of the seaside resort of Salou, 10 kilometres from Reus and Tarragona on the Costa Dorada, the Sangulí Salou Camping & Resort is located. The latter is one of the loveliest campsites in Spain, and a multitude of holidaymakers go there each season to enjoy its numerous benefits.
A luxury campsite a stone’s throw from the beach...
The Sangulí Resort campsite enjoys a highly enviable location on the Costa Dorada. The latter is located at the heart of Salou, “the Capital of Tourism” for the region. The leading seaside resort in the province, located 112 kilometres from Barcelona, Salou takes advantage of its multitude of tourist attractions, such as its wonderful sandy beaches and its Port Aventura theme park, as well as its Mediterranean climate, to each year attract thousands of European holidaymakers.
The grounds on which the Sangulí Resort is established stretch over more than ten or so hectares by the sea, and are just a stone’s throw from the Salou beaches. Swimming is supervised by a lifeguard in the summer season, and a multitude of clubs have been established next to the beach. The promenade which runs alongside the seafront, over several kilometres, fills up with walkers every evening and the activities there are as numerous as they are varied. You only have to walk ten or so metres, after going out of the campsite, to access the town’s main restaurants, terraces and bars. In total, holidaymakers staying at the Sangulí Resort can make the most of 34 beaches, all of these solely in the town of Salou. All have have been given the seal of approval of Pavillon Bleu d’Europe.
Within the campsite, a large area for camping has been laid out, with pitches having a surface area going up to 145 m². Entirely planted with grass, these pitches are intended to accommodate tents, caravans and camper vans. You can also stay in one of the holiday rentals on the Sangulí Resort. These are located in one of the four areas set aside for this purpose on the campsite. All have a different atmosphere with African Safari lodges, Caribbean villas, Polynesian bungalows and the new Mediterranean villas…

As regards services, these appear to be as numerous as they are varied at the Sangulí Resort campsite! It has three supermarkets, three bakeries, two souvenir shops and a laundry service. There are also several areas on-site given over to catering, such as the Victòria, Sangulí and Tàrraco restaurants, and three “Deli Food” takeaway services. There is the Baobab, Sports Bar and Oasis bars, and two bars at the Beach Club Sangulí Beach.
Lastly, amongst the other services on this campsite, we could mention the medical centre, bicycle hire service and Internet Wi-Fi network with free access. There is the mini tourist train, covering the campsite. It enables holidaymakers to quickly get to any one of the main attractions on the campsite and other facilities.
Amongst these “Meccas” for holidaymakers, the 5 themed pool areas of the Sangulí Resort are together one of the major attractions on the campsite! Nobody can remain unmoved when faced with the water slides, animal figures, water games and large relaxation areas in these spaces set aside for swimming. There are 5 aquatic parks for five times the pleasure. This is in short the commitment made to holidaymakers by this open-air hotel in the Costa Dorada! These swimming areas take the names Àfrica Pool, Guli Pool, Relax Pool, Happy Pool and Fiesta Pool.

Sangulí Salou Camping & Resort has a multitude of other leisure facilities, such as its sports area, bringing together a football and volleyball pitch, basketball court and ping-pong tables. There is also a weights and fitness room, crazy-golf course, trampolines, tennis and padel tennis courts and other facilities.
This high-end campsite in Spain also has an exceptional activity team, and an activity schedule which leaves no room for boredom. The campsite has an amphitheatre with a capacity for 1,538 people, including 800 able to be seated in the tiered seating available. It is there that night entertainment, such as shows and concerts, takes place. The activity leaders are also on hand to look after children at the mini club, arrange tournaments, sports activities, and summer shows…
