Established in 1963, the Al Sole campsite was a pioneer in implementing an environmentally sustainable policy. This strategy began 40 years ago with the installation of thermal solar panels. Nowadays, a large part of the energy used on-site is self-generated, the most modern sanitary blocks are equipped with sensors that turn taps off automatically to minimise wastewater, lighting in all facilities operates using LEDs, etc. All of these initiatives increase the desire to be environmentally friendly, begun when the campsite was established.
Those who love outdoor camping, without sacrificing their comfort, will be delighted! During your stay on the Al Sole campsite, you’ll be able to choose from a wide range of modern accommodation, including the Ledro mobile home, designed to minimize its environmental impact, whilst guaranteeing a high level of comfort. This state-of-the-art holiday rental has been entirely thought out and manufactured by the area’s tradesmen with larch wood and local materials. Surrounded by trees and hedges, the Al Sole camping pitches are scattered over the grounds. Sometimes opposite the lake or by the swimming pool, they are all connected to electricity and may have direct access to drinking water. Exceptional countryside near Lake Garda

There is no shortage of outdoor activities in this wild region: paragliding, stand-up paddle boarding or canoeing in the clear waters of Lake Ledro, canyoning in the Dolomites, climbing on the Alto Garda and Ledro rock faces…There is really something for everyone! If you prefer more tranquil activities, fishing without a licence is permitted on the lake shores (a day fishing permit suffices).
For culture, do not miss Europe’s most famous science museum (Musée des Sciences) in Trente. The museum houses 19,000 m² of exhibitions detailing the beginnings of life on earth and the history of evolution. The ground floor of the museum is given over to children, so they can have fun whilst learning. Make the most of this port of call in Trente to discover the Buonconsiglio castle. Visitors especially enjoy the 360° view from the balcony on the 3rd floor, over the town and surrounding mountains. The Piazza del Duomo square is the perfect stop to enjoy the local area’s best Italian ice creams.
Situated only about 10 minutes from the charming village of Riva del Garda, detour via the largest lake in Italy.
