The Dordogne, one of the loveliest départements in France...
One of the best attractions of the Le Moulin du Roch campsite is, without doubt, its geographical location, which enables holidaymakers to go quickly to Sarlat la Canéda. The reputation of its market has for a long time gone beyond the boundaries of the département, and people come from afar to buy truffles. They are a speciality of the Périgord region, but it is enough to go to a Sarlat restaurant or the surrounding area to understand that the gastronomy of the Périgord is one of the richest in France, with in particular a variety of preserves and fillets, foie gras pâté, walnuts, chestnuts, mushrooms, wines and other produce.
