This establishment stretches over lush grounds in Saint André d’Allas, a commune barely 10 or so kilometres from Sarlat. Crossed by the Puymartin stream, it takes its name from the windmill set up in the past by this water course. Underneath the trees nestle slightly more than 200 pitches, including the majority occupied by holiday rental accommodation.
Plots intended to accommodate campers and their equipment are divided into three ranges: Standard pitches, Comfort pitches and Premium pitches, these being equipped with electricity, a water point, a waste water system as well as a shed within which is found garden furniture, as well as a fridge and a microwave.
Holiday rentals taking the form of mobile homes, including eight ranges, are on offer to holidaymakers. The Premium range being the most top-of-the-range, with modern accommodation, consists of three bedrooms and is able to welcome up to 7 people.

The Dordogne, one of the loveliest départements in France...
One of the best attractions of the Le Moulin du Roch campsite is, without doubt, its geographical location, which enables holidaymakers to go quickly to Sarlat la Canéda. The capital of the Périgord Noir, this town is today one of the loveliest medieval settlements in Europe. Its picturesque alleyways enable you to discover sublime town houses and other historic monuments, such as the Manoir de Gisson (itself a French listed building), the Sarlat Saint-Sacerdos Cathedral, the town hall and others.
The reputation of its market has for a long time gone beyond the boundaries of the département, and people come from afar to buy truffles. They are a speciality of the Périgord region, but it is enough to go to a Sarlat restaurant or the surrounding area to understand that the gastronomy of the Périgord is one of the richest in France, with in particular a variety of preserves and fillets, foie gras pâté, walnuts, chestnuts, mushrooms, wines and other produce.
Amongst the other tourist sites located in the vicinity of the Le Moulin du Roch campsite, we can mention the village Les Eyzies, with a significant historical and prehistoric heritage. Moreover, the Musée National de la Préhistoire (National Museum of Prehistory) is located there. Holidaymakers can also visit a multitude of châteaux and walled towns which are dotted across the natural Dordogne landscape, such as the château at Castelnaud La Chapelle, and that in Milandes, Beynac and others.
