A campsite by the sea

By staying within this campsite, families can make the most of direct and quick access to the Vendays Montalivet beach as well as a multitude of hiking and cycling paths crossing the forest, which consists of pines and cork oaks and surrounds the campsite.
This campsite, which extends over a surface area of nearly 36 hectares, nestles between the ocean and the forest. The seaside resort, Montalivet les Bains, in the commune of Vendays-Montalivet, is just a stone’s throw from here. It is possible to get there by car in a few minutes or on foot along the beach. As with the entire Côte d’Argent, the beach stretches over dozens and dozens of kilometres, from Soulac sur Mer in the north through to the entrance to the Arcachon Basin in the south.
This beach is the perfect location to have a swim, get a tan, and play in the sand but also to become initiated in and practice various nautical sports. For example, a surf school is located along the path which meanders across the dunes and links this 5-star Gironde campsite to the beach.

Although the campsite surroundings have many advantages, the campsite grounds themselves have in no way been left behind. They have a wide choice of holiday rentals comprising mobile homes, chalets and fully equipped tents. Some of this accommodation is air-conditioned, and dependent their given layout, the rentals can accommodate between 2 to 6 people.
For glamping lovers, the Atlantic Club Montalivet campsite has a range of Tentes Ecoluxe (eco-luxury tents) on piles, the charm and comfort of which are unrivalled! These tents have two bedrooms and can welcome up to 5 holidaymakers.
As regards services, which are as numerous as they are varied, on site there is a reception, a mini-market, a restaurant, a pizzeria, a snack bar, a crêperie-ice-cream seller, a takeaway service, a delicatessen as well as a sweets and smoothies cabin. This campsite also has a launderette, paying access to the Wi-Fi network, a barbecue area, a TV-hire service, bicycles, baby kits, sheets and a barbecue.
There is a further facility which cannot leave you impervious to its charms; the Well-being Oasis, a space of 160 m² entirely given over to unwinding, located in the heart of a Zen garden conducive to relaxation. This is made up of a spa, a steam room, a sauna and a treatment area, within which it is possible to make the most of a wide choice of massages and body and face treatments…A unique place for unforgettable holidays in Gironde!

Besides a wide choice of holiday rentals and services, the Tohapi Atlantic Club Montalivet campsite accommodates a large variety of leisure equipment and facilities. Amongst these, the aquatic park is, without doubt the most enjoyed facility for holidaymakers. They can make the most of a swimming area, which has benefited from a significant modernization as the 2018 season dawns. Open from April 7th to September 30th, this aquatic park comprises a large outdoor swimming pool lagoon with an area of 433 m², a pool for children of 150 m², a paddling pool with a splash pad, an indoor pool and a large solarium. There are two superb thrill seeker slides, including one for which you use a rubber ring! Please note that during the high season there is a lifeguard present to supervise swimming.
The other facilities in this open-air Médoc hotel include tennis courts, a volleyball court, areas laid out as pétanque grounds, ping-pong tables, a crazy-golf course, a fitness room, a riding school, a mini-farm and other amenities. The Maison de Topi, is an area reserved to accommodate the very young (from aged 4 to 13) with games adapted for their age group. Activities and entertainment are organised by the Campsite Team throughout the week, whilst teenagers are equally entitled to a tailor-made programme.
Lastly, all holidaymakers who wish to can participate in the activities and entertainment on the campsite: muscle awakening, aquaerobics, Zumba, step and aerobics sessions, and introductory dance lessons. Such activities also include recreational and sports tournaments, pool games, the mini-disco, shows, discotheque (open until midnight), and other activities.
