In the heart of the immense Pinhadar des Landes, the largest pine forest of Western Europe, and three minutes from the village of Gastes, also running alongside the famous Biscarosse Lake, La Réserve is a luxury campsite, which enjoys a solid reputation and receives a lot of positive feedback.
On a property of several dozen hectares, 818 pitches and many leisure facilities welcome every year tourists looking for a comfortable camping holiday on the banks of the Biscarrosse Lake. Featuring a marina and a private beach, La Réserve counts as one of the most beautiful campsites of the Landes and the Atlantic Coast.
Its rental accommodations consist of mobile homes, spread over the property on very large plots. Each one has a gas plancha. Green hedges separate these plots and provide peace and privacy to each individual pitch.
With a private beach and a water park
On-site, shops and services guarantee a successful stay for guests. Randomly scattered, there is thus a mini supermarket, a take-away service, the “Les Saveurs de la Réserve” restaurant, and no less than 3 refreshment areas: the beach bar, the Luna bar and the Airial bar. The last venue offers many forms of evening entertainment, in relaxed and warm surroundings, a real holiday atmosphere!
The private beach, by the lake, is one of the most sought-after locations for camping guests. Children can build beautiful sand castles, teens can enjoy a game of beach-volleyball and adults can get a suntan. Besides swimming, the Lac de Biscarrosse lake offers the opportunity to do many nautical activities like sailing, stand-up paddle boarding, parasailing, water-skiing or even tubing trips...
The water park on the La Réserve campsite consists of a superb heated lagoon swimming pool, a rectangular pool for serious swimmers, a large heated paddling pool, a multi-slide and a water slide. There is also a large heated indoor swimming pool, with a paddling pool, and a Jacuzzi.
Moreover, depending upon the season, aquaerobics sessions take place here!
In the heart of the Landes Forest, and just a stone’s throw from the coast
In the heart of the Landes Forest and barely 10 kilometres from the ocean beaches, where you can easily go on foot or by bike, by cutting through the forest paths, this 4-star campsite in Gastes also boasts many other benefits.
Among these, we note the presence of a multi-sports field, a jeu-de-boules field, a bike rental service, table tennis tables, a mini-golf, a trampoline, a video games and billiards room.
On this campsite there are no less than four playgrounds for the children and also three kids clubs. The Bubbles Club, which has a compulsory requirement for parental supervision, is open for those aged 1 to 3. The Pirates Club and the Barracudas Club are respectively for the 4 to 9 and the 10 to 12 years old. In low season, the Max Club regroups all the 4 to 12 year olds.
Note finally that every evening, or almost, you can assist to an event: dancing, karaoke, cabaret, etc. Impressive shows are also organised during high season...
