Regional produce which you can of course find in the market square in Parentis en Born! In the morning, as it is delightful to stroll through the various market aisles and to talk to local producers, selling their dishes with pride. Do not hesitate to choose products only found in the region, such as Asperge des Sables (asparagus grown in sandy soils), Adour kiwis or the Bœuf de Chalosse (fresh beef produced from particular cattle types).
Upon returning from your walk, stop in front of the magnificent Saint-Martin de Biscarrosse church. This building dating back to the 14th century was built of Landes stone, and is definitely worth seeing. On your way, you will probably pass the famous Musée de l’Hydraviation (seaplane museum), with a restored seaplane exhibition area, archive materials, logbooks and a multitude of photographs. A real leap through time! Please note that to go to Biscarrosse from the campsite, takes a few minutes by road, which you can complete by car, but also by bike!
