The L’Arbre d’Or campsite offers you the chance to stay on plots with an electricity supply (10 amp connection), for which you can hire a fridge. You can also stay in mobile homes with capacity for 2 to 10 people. They have an lounge/living area with TV, equipped kitchen, 1-4 comfortable bedroom(s), one or two bathroom(s) and covered terrace with garden furniture set.
On-site, you can buy your newspaper at the grocery on L’Arbre d’Or and get some fruit and vegetables, regional products and produce, drinks etc. to prepare your meals. If you prefer to sit down straight away, head for the campsite’s air-conditioned restaurant. Here you are invited to come and savour delicious pizzas or simply enjoy an ice cream with your children. Dishes may be consumed on the premises or as a takeaway.
To relax and have fun, go to the water park on this Parentis en Born campsite. This consists of a heated indoor swimming pool and outdoor pool. During summer, aquaerobics and aquafitness classes take place here. Very young holidaymakers can make the most of the shallow paddling pool, to enjoy the delights of water!

Every morning, children who wish to can attend the Mizzi Club, the campsite mini club, where an activity team organizes a multitude of play activities. They can also take advantage of the playground, with a trampoline, teeter-totter, slides and bouncy castle to have fun. Family activities are also on the programme for the holiday: sports challenges, aqua Olympiads, photo rallies, treasure hunts, craft activities and board game tournaments.
Meanwhile, parents are invited to get their breath back, and come and relax in the wellness centre on L’Arbre d’Or, where we can make the Jacuzzi private, for an interlude as a couple. L’Arbre d’Or is 10 minutes’ drive away from the Lac de Biscarrosse, the largest lake in the Landes. With the warm, clear and shallow water, it is the perfect playground for lovers of water sports, who can do stand-up paddle boarding, sailing, canoeing and pedalo rides here, but also waterskiing, towable tube, wakeboarding and kitesurfing!
From the campsite, numerous cycle trails await you amongst the dunes, ocean, forests and lakes, such as the “Vélodyssée” route, a 33-kilometre trip connecting Parentis en Born to Biscarrosse. Walkers can take the Promenade du Nasseys, a 10-kilometre route in the Landes Forest offering a magnificent view over the Lac de Biscarrosse, or even the Chemin de Sabas trail, which enables you to reach the Plage Secrète de Caton beach on the Lac de Sanguinet lake.
The campsite is located 30 kilometres from the Arcachon Basin, which stretches from the Dune du Pilat sand dune to the Pointe du Cap Ferret headland. Board a pinasse (local flat-bottomed boat) or pleasure boat to discover the Ile aux Oiseaux (an island in the basin named after the sea birds) and the renowned cabins on stilts. Climb the 258 steps of the Phare du Cap Ferret lighthouse, to admire the 360° view over the Dune du Pilat and oyster parks. Stop in the village of L’Herbe, the loveliest on the Cap Ferret peninsula, to sample oysters from the Basin.
