These take the form of new and practical cottages, from 20 to 40 m² with 1 to 3 bedrooms, depending on their layout, an equipped kitchen, bathroom and laid out private terrace. Around the La Clairière campsite, sports enthusiasts can play golf, tennis, or go to the Cercle Nautique de Mimizan water sports centre on the shores of Lac d’Aureilhan (Lake Mimizan), for rowing, paddle boarding or sailing in an exceptional setting. Have a walk on the Promenade Fleurie lakeside garden walk in Mimizan, lined with 400 species of flowers and shrubs by the lake! Lastly be sure to visit the Musée du Prieuré museum, with the bell-tower porch, the last vestiges of a significant 12th century Benedictine abbey. Behind the brick walls of this building, on the UNESCO World Heritage List as part of the “Routes of Santiago de Compostela in France” property (being one of many such buildings), hides one of the loveliest sculpted gates in South West France!
