If we had to classify the campsites on the Granit Rose (Pink Granite) coast, on the Côtes d'Armor, no doubt the Le Ranolien campsite would be top of the list. A 5-star campsite located in Ploumanac'h, a village forming part of the resort town of Perros-Guirec, and a member of the Sandaya chain, it is one of the exceptional campsites which, before you have even set foot on them, make you dream…
The charm of camping in Brittany
15 hectares of heaven in the north of Brittany. That's how we define this outdoor establishment, located by the sea, a few kilometres from the centre of Perros-Guirec. Located in the heart of a protected nature zone, the calm and the beauty of the site are definitely assured. Boasting a direct access to the sea and to the path of les douaniers along one of the most beautiful wild coasts of Brittany, this high range camping has many assets to satisfy tourists.
The grounds occupied by this establishment are located in Ploumanac'h, a small hamlet, nowadays part of the town of Perros-Guirec. Ploumanac'h is one of the most beautiful villages in France. It was designated as being the favourite village of the French in 2015, during a famous competition organised by a large state-owned television channel. Within these extensively wooded and in bloom grounds, pitches and rentals are spread around the area. They all enjoy depending upon their location exceptional views over the English Channel, or over the neighbouring bocage (farmland criss-crossed by hedges and trees).
The pitches, separated by trees or shrubs, have a surface ranging from 80 to 100 m². Equipped with an electrical connection, they have been laid out in such a way that all are within the vicinity of a modern sanitary block. As regards holiday rentals, campers have the choice between 15 different ranges of mobile homes, 6 of which are in “Premium” categories. The luxury and facilities of these are matched only by the quality of their design.

The incredible beauty of the coast on the Côtes d'Armor
It is just a stone’s throw from the Semaphore de Ploumanac’h military base that the Le Ranolien campsite is located. Ploumanac'h is certainly one of the most beautiful natural sites of the Côte de Granit Rose, a rugged coastline which extends over 10 kilometres in Pays de Trégor. Unusual detail, the pink colour of this granite can only be observed in three places around the world: here, on Corsica and in China!
Facing Ploumanac'h, the seven islands, an archipelago of (only) five Islands (including l'île aux Moines, the only one accessible by public) is the largest ornithological reserve of France. It is also the reproduction area of many seals which you can observe if you take a boat from the port of Perros-Guirec.
If this community by the sea has the typical charm of Breton ports, it is also one of the most beautiful seaside resorts in France. From here, it is possible to quickly go to Lannion, Paimpol and Morlaix, three characteristic cities with a rich Breton heritage...
