A dream stay at the L’Escale Saint Gilles campsite
From the spa to the aquatic park
Although the certainty of spending a great holiday comes largely from the enchanting setting of this campsite by the sea and some 50 metres from the delightful Saint Gilles beach, its facilities and equipment should not, for all that, be overlooked.
Well-being and amusement of the guests are the main concerns of L'Escale Saint Gilles, and that's why it has a quality spa and water park. The first consists of an 'Aquazen' area, dotted with a hammam, a sauna, a relaxation pool, and an Escape zone proposing treatments, massages and modelling massages in a harmonious and relaxing atmosphere.
The campsite's water park, consists of an outdoor and an indoor area. There are several heated pools, including a paddling pool for children, as well as three flume type water slides. The outdoor area features a large swimming pool, a rapid tropical river, as well as a large water slide offering speed lovers many turns for even more sensations! Various water games including mini-climbing walls, mushrooms and magic coconuts will fill the very young with wonder. Adults can make the most of the sunshine and will be able to perfect their tan whilst cooling down with cocktails and ice creams offered by our beach pool bar - “ La Rotonde".

Furthermore, why shouldn’t we compare the Glénan archipelago to Polynesia? By staying on the L'Escale Saint Gilles campsite, holidaymakers can get an idea of this, since the campsite is located right opposite these legendary Islands...
To go there, you simply have to take the boat from Bénodet. The crossing takes barely an hour. On-site, what better than hiring a sea kayak to go out and explore the Glénan archipelago, and draw alongside one of the most bewitching beaches of this archipelago comprised of 7 isles.
Seaside resort of first importance, Bénodet is located at the mouth of the Odet, the most beautiful river of Brittany. Upstream, you arrive in Quimper, capital of the Cornouaille. Its heritage is worth a visit, just like the closed city of Concarneau, at some twenty kilometres from the campsite.
At last, even if the magnificent cliffs of the point of Raz and the peninsula of Crozon are must-sees, it is also recommended to visit Pont Aven, charming village famous for its painters who lived there...
