A camping holiday in Bénodet
Not far away from the marina in Bénodet, with the capacity for 750 boats, this 12-hectare campsite may, using a little imagination, prove to be the yacht mast for which the mobile homes would serve as the hulls.

Those in search of out-of-the-ordinary holiday hire accommodation may afford themselves a stay in a Cocosweet tent at the Port de Plaisance camping resort. Both original and cosy, it is fully equipped and can accommodate up to 4 people over a surface area of 16 m².
This establishment’s move upmarket is partly due to the quality of its accommodation, which is ever more spacious and comfortable. Those keen on traditional pitches are not, for all that, forgotten, since at the Port de Plaisance campsite plots of around 100 m² are set aside for campers and their vehicle. These pitches are equipped with a water point and a 6-amp electric point.
Sport, relaxation and swimming on the menu
Holidays are made all the lovelier thanks to the equipment and the facilities of the Yelloh! Village Port de Plaisance camping resort. It boasts for example, a water park, the only one of its kind. With its "Aquadome," it prides itself in offering tourists one of the largest indoor water parks in Brittany. Having pools with a total surface area of 450 m², water heated to 29°C, a children's paddling pool with water games, two water slides and a spa, there is plenty to fill the 1,000 m² of this “Aquadome”...
Moreover and to better enjoy the sun, there are also three outdoor pools on the campsite. One of them, with an area of 230 m², is reserved for swimming, the second welcomes little children and finally the third contains two giant water slides!
Although lazing and swimming are very important on the holiday agenda, let's not forget the other services and activities offered by the Port de Plaisance campsite. Three children’s clubs enable parents, whose children are aged 5 to 17 to have free time, whilst a baby club, for those aged 0 to 4, allows young children to have fun under the watchful eye of mum and/or dad.

Under the sun of Cornouaille
Celtic land par excellence, the Cornouaille is Breton country which includes a large part of the Finistère region and the south of the Côtes d'Armor. Its historical capital, Quimper, is crossed by the prettiest river in France, the Odet, whose mouth is some 20 km further south... in Benodet!
Although a visit to Quimper must be on the agenda during your stay on the Port de Plaisance campsite, this city is not unique in having an important historical heritage. Further east along the coast, the town centre of Concarneau, flanked by walls and located on an island amidst the port, should be discovered.
Opposite Bénodet, around 10 nautical miles from the mainland, the Île des Glénan (Glénan Islands archipelago) is one of Brittany’s loveliest natural beauty spots. Within its string of islets, are concentrated a variety of heavenly landscapes, leaving no visitor unmoved. The main archipelago islands hem in a turquoise lagoon with waters of a surprising transparency, around which superb white sandy beaches nestle, having an exoticism unparalleled in the Grand Ouest (north-west France).
We also point out the small village of Pont Aven, about 30 km from Bénodet. Its legendary charm and very particular character has seen so many painters pass through, that it has given its name to a school: the Pont Aven School, with Paul Gauguin as its leader.
Further West, the Côte Sauvage (Wild Coast), shaped by crashing waves during storms on the Iroise Sea, is a must-see tourist site, as is the famous Monts d’Arrée mountain range, in the centre of the department.
