Les Mouettes, a dream campsite in Carantec
If franchised "Yelloh! Village" campsites stand for quality and high-end services, the 5-star campsite Village Les Mouettes, located on the peninsula of Carantec in Brittany, is no exception, and even surpasses the expectations of the increasing number of tourists going there every year.
An exceptional campsite in northern Finistère
Located in the heart of 14-acre landscaped grounds by the sea, the Les Mouettes camping village offers only advantages to its residents. Its situation on a peninsula, the peninsula of Carantec, guarantees peace and quiet, but also and above all an exceptional panorama on one of the most beautiful bays of Brittany.
Even if there are many nearby beaches, no one can resist the attraction of the water park. Named "Blue Lagoon", it is composed of several heated pools, a tropical river and many water slides. The youngest can have fun in the paddling pool and splash around thanks to the magic mushroom and its water jets. With its palm trees and its oasis of greenery, this water park is a real tropical Eden, providing satisfaction and happiness to both children and adults, who can also relax on the many sun loungers installed on the sunbathing areas around the pools.
The AquaGarden complex does not fail to provide a dose of addition pleasure to holidaymakers either, and especially to children, for whom it is exclusively intended... This new aquatic space, which will extend over a surface area of 1,500 m², will comprise a paddling pool of 120 m² for having fun in the water in complete safety, with a pool depth of between 15 cm and 45 cm. There will also be a 600 m² splash pad with a multitude of water jets to splash yourself with, water cannons, geysers, aquatic flowers and other similar facilities. It will also consist of a large water games structure, with a giant bucket of water, which will pour out over the entire family catching them by surprise, and several mini-water slides just for children. Lastly, around this new children’s playground, sunbathing terraces to read, play and rest after a good swim have also been laid out.
Premium high-end campsite, Les Mouettes offers lots of other facilities and services to its guests, starting with the "Balneoh!" , a playful covered balneo pool where everything is designed to improve the family's well-being. The program proposes showers, upstream swimming, massage jets, and a balneo bench in water at 29°. To let parents with children relax as well, Balneoh! has a paddling pool for the 0 to 5 years old with water jets, water slides and magic mushrooms. Nearby, adults enjoy free access to the fitness area. So that you can take care of your body, alternately you can enjoy the sauna, the cold water well, and the Jacuzzis.
Quality accommodation, combining comfort, originality and modern trends
The beauty salon also contributes to the well-being of body and mind, just as do the dishes of the P'tit resto de Soizic, the campsite's restaurant. To enjoy an ice cream or simply to quench your thirst, go to the Bar de la Plage beach bar or to the Ty-Coz Café, the 2 bars of the campsite.
While the children have fun in the kid's club, the parents can have some free time to relax and discover the treasures of the region. Everybody will join again in the evening, during the nightly events organised by camping Les Mouettes. The programme offers clown shows, dance performances, magic shows, evening concerts, late night water park openings, cinema and cabaret...(the program varies depending upon the season).
As for the accommodation, this is divided into five areas, tastefully furnished, each adopting a different style. We will mention the Bahia Lodge area, including the luxurious and spacious cottages offering stunning views over the sea...
A perfect geographical location
The Les Mouettes campsite is located on the west coast of the Carantec peninsula, a seaside resort benefiting from the appeal provided by one of Brittany’s most beautiful bays, which faces it. Les Mouettes enables you to quickly reach the whole of the Pays de Morlaix, countryside designated “Pays d’Art et d’Histoire” (due to its cultural, art and historical significance), but also and more generally all over northern Finistère. Saint Pol de Léon, Roscoff, Morlaix, the Île de Batz island or even the Côte de Granit Rose (Pink Granite Coast) - all places to discover during a stay in the region.
Further West or South, you can visit Brest and Océanopolis, as well as the Monts d'Arrée, Celtic land and home to many legends, including those coming out of the Arthurian imaginary...
