Belle Plage - a 4 star campsite in Ploemeur

Located in the Morbihan department, the Sandaya Belle Plage campsite is a dream holiday resort for those looking to unwind in a protected natural setting. The exceptional location by the sea particularly offers direct access to a magnificent sandy beach, and a breathtaking view over the Atlantic Ocean.

The gem of the Breton coast, on the waterfront

Nestling between the sea and the countryside, the Belle Plage campsite enjoys an exceptional location, offering holidaymakers an unforgettable stay in the Morbihan. During your stay, make the most of fully equipped accommodation, spacious and shaded pitches, a heated indoor swimming pool, children’s play areas and snack bar. The activities team also offers a varied programme for all the family including sports activities, themed evenings, shows and excursions in the surrounding area. After this holiday in Ploemeur, you won’t want to go home!

One of the campsite’s main attractions is its direct access to the Anse du Stole beach. This stretch of sand is renowned for its natural beauty and tranquillity. You’ll simply have to cross the dune to fully make the most of the beach. With a gentle slope and shallow water, the Anse du Stole beach is perfect for swimming with young children. Located not far from here, the Fort Bloqué beach is popular with surfers and lovers of all types of water sports. You can do windsurfing, kitesurfing, paddle boarding or even kayaking here.

Whether you have the spirit of an adventurer or want maximum comfort, the Belle Plage campsite offers quality accommodation to meet all your needs. The cottages and glamping tents are equipped with all necessary comforts for a delightful holiday. Their private terrace is perfect to make the most of the view over the sea or the countryside. Campers can choose from pitches of 80 m² or 100 m², with electric connections and water points. Located just a stone’s throw from the beach and swimming pool, the pitches offer appreciated accessibility, to make the most of the campsite facilities.

A stay with the focus on relaxation and fun

The campsite’s swimming pool is a genuine paradise for lovers of swimming. Thanks to its retractable side panels, the indoor swimming pool opens on both sides to let the Breton breeze back in, when the temperatures are too high. Heated throughout the entire campsite season, the main pool is surrounded by a large sun-drenched terrace, where sunloungers are set up to relax in the sunshine. The very young will be able to have fun entirely safely in the paddling pool, with games suitable for their age group.

Have a delicious meal in the La Longère snack bar, open all day in the summer season. The snack menu offers a variety of dishes, ranging from pizzas to salads to burgers. It also provides plenty of the famous Kouign Amann (Breton cake), the region’s most gourmet dessert! Sitting down at a table on the terrace, you can also sip cool drinks throughout the entire day. During the summer season, a grocery area is also available for you to buy everyday products, as is a bread, sweetbreads and buns and newspaper outlet. The Camping Belle Plage campsite also makes free Wi-Fi access available to holidaymakers, so you can stay connected even during your holiday.

The holiday is a chance for children to have fun and make new friends, thanks to the various children’s clubs. The baby park is a play area for small children aged 0 to 4, specifically designed for early learning, supervised by their parents. For children aged 5 to 7, the Kids Club offers arts and crafts and sports activities. Children aged 8 to 12 can go to the Club Juniors (juniors club), where they can take part in major outdoor games and play activities, supervised by a qualified and attentive activities team. Lastly, for teens aged 13 to 17, the Club Teens (teens club) organises group sports tournaments to enable them to let off steam and spend great times all together.

The perfect starting point to discover the wonders of the Morbihan

There are numerous towns and cities to visit around Ploemeur, offering a multitude of activities. Firstly, Lorient, located only 10 kilometres from the campsite, is a town packed with charm, home to numerous tourist attractions, such as the Port Louis citadel, the Musée de la Compagnie des Indes (French East India Company museum), and even the Jardin de Gabriel park and gardens. Around 30 minutes by road, Vannes is a must-see medieval city. Famous for its old fortified town, ramparts and delightful half-timbered houses, Vannes is a genuine gem of the Golfe du Morbihan bay.

The Ile de Groix island, only a 20-minute boat crossing from Lorient, is a must-see destination for holidaymakers looking for countryside and escape. The island has a wide diversity of landscapes: wild coasts, sandy beaches and even a sublime fishing village. To discover the island, several activities are on offer to you: hikes or bike rides through the numerous marked trails, observation of marine fauna, with boat trips to see the dolphins and seals, or even visiting the heritage museum (Écomusée) to learn more about local history. Amongst the must-see sights to visit we should mention the Pen-Men lighthouse, which offers breathtaking views over the Breton coast, or even the Gripp fort, testament to the island’s history during World War II. Gourmets will not miss the chance to sample local specialities, such as Groix langoustines, crabs and oysters, or even the celebrated Galette de Sarrasin (buckwheat pancake containing spinach, cheese and egg filling), with a glass of Breton cider.

Some 30 kilometres from the campsite, the Kingoland theme park offers a variety of attractions and activities suitable for all ages, ranging from roller coasters to gentler fairground rides for the very young. The park is separated into several themed areas, each offering a unique experience, such as the Medieval area with its fortified castle or Western area with its Wild West scenery. In addition to fairground attractions, Kingoland also offers a multitude of entertainment and shows, notably magic shows and musical entertainment. Visitors can also make the most of play areas, climbing activities and water games in summer.
