Firstly, Lorient, located only 10 kilometres from the campsite, is a town packed with charm, home to numerous tourist attractions, such as the Port Louis citadel, the Musée de la Compagnie des Indes (French East India Company museum), and even the Jardin de Gabriel park and gardens. Around 30 minutes by road, Vannes is a must-see medieval city. Famous for its old fortified town, ramparts and delightful half-timbered houses, Vannes is a genuine gem of the Golfe du Morbihan bay.
The Ile de Groix island, only a 20-minute boat crossing from Lorient, is a must-see destination for holidaymakers looking for countryside and escape. The island has a wide diversity of landscapes: wild coasts, sandy beaches and even a sublime fishing village. To discover the island, several activities are on offer to you: hikes or bike rides through the numerous marked trails, observation of marine fauna, with boat trips to see the dolphins and seals, or even visiting the heritage museum (Écomusée) to learn more about local history.
