A luxury campsite in the heart of the Loire Valley
Where Indre et Loire meets Loir et Cher, just outside the village of Mesland, on the right bank of the Royal River, the Val de Loire campsite is a high-end resort, offering a family atmosphere, quality facilities and comfort.
In the heart of the countryside, within a 14-hectare verdant and wooded campsite, campers are able to set up their tent, their caravan or their camper on spacious and grass-covered pitches. The largest of them, the so-called “Premium” pitch is spread over a surface area of 150 m² or more and is equipped with an electrical supply, mains drinking water, sewage disposal, a garden furniture set, a private barbecue, an arbour, tyre treads and a free connection to the Wi-Fi network. Moreover animals are accepted on all pitches
The holiday hire accommodation at the Parc du Val de Loire campsite, is as numerous as it is varied. We thus find comfortable cottages and chalets, but also unusual and futuristic furnished tents from the “Lodge” and “Coco Sweet” ranges.
However the must-have of the campsite's rental accommodation is within its “Premium” area. This is an area where car traffic is prohibited, thereby having greater peace and quiet and safety, where the emphasis has been placed upon both outdoor and indoor decoration of holiday rentals, the landscaped layout and additional services (such as a Wi-Fi connection, the offering of end-of-stay cleaning and other services). This “Premium” area comprises state of the art cottages, of which the very latest “Key West” mobile homes are able to accommodate 4 to 6 people.
The aquatic park and luxury holiday rentals
Although comfort, peace and quiet and tranquillity are guaranteed within this open-air establishment in the Loire valley, so indeed are leisure activities and entertainment. Thus, holidaymakers staying in Mesland are able to take advantage of numerous leisure facilities.
Amongst the latter, there is an aquatic park which is unique of its kind in Touraine. The latter is made up of a 300 m² outdoor swimming area and a superb 200 m² indoor swimming area. The latter was completely renovated at the beginning of the 2014 season!
The outdoor aquatic space comprises a lagoon, whirlpool baths, children's paddling pool, waterfalls and geysers, as well as three water slides. Moreover the complex is entirely heated.
So as to relax, holidaymakers can head for the new wellness area of the Parc du Val de Loire. With its elegant designer look and its interior which radiates tranquillity, it is the perfect place to indulge yourself! There is a spa (sauna and Jacuzzi) as well as massage rooms.
For holidays with family or friends
If this 5-star Loir et Cher campsite is ideal for a holiday with family or friends it is also because it has many other sports and leisure facilities available, such as a mini-golf course, a tennis court, a multisports ground, a treetop adventure park, trampolines and a games room.
Close to the Parc du Val de Loire campsite, holidaymakers can even try other fun activities, such as canoeing on the Loire, horse-riding, a hot-air balloon flight and more.
Finally, in a region with such a significant historical heritage, it would hardly be appropriate to stay here without visiting one of the landmarks that earned the Loire Valley a spot on the UNESCO World Heritage List. From Chambord to Amboise via Chenonceau, Cheverny, Blois or Amboise, the châteaux of the Loire can be discovered during a stay on this campsite!
