Les Alicourts, a countryside and relaxed stay in the heart of the Loire Valley
Between Orléans and Vierzon houses the most beautiful campsite of the Centre region. Located in the middle of nowhere, Les Alicourts is a 5-star campsite, a member of the Sandaya group, which brings together some of the most beautiful European establishments...
A holiday in the middle of nowhere
Les Alicourts is located on a 60-hectare campsite, in the middle of which a lake is positioned. Surrounded by a forest and fields, nature is everywhere, especially because the pitches and the rentals are also surrounded by vegetation. Trees and shrubs provide tourists shade and peace.
In order to meet the different expectations of its residents, the campsite has two different parts. The first one, near the park, includes 35 acres with 200 lawned pitches to welcome tents, caravans and campers, as well as 290 comfortable and spacious cottages and chalets. The other part, near the forest, gives tourists the opportunity to spend a still comfortable, but more natural and authentic stay, into the wild. As a matter of fact we find in this 25-acres wooded area eight huts in the trees, five "safari lodges" and five "explorer lodges."
Out-of-the-ordinary accommodation, enabling Les Alicourts to offer glamping solutions to satisfy tourists looking for peace and fresh air, all the more so because they will be located in a Natura 2000 area, in the heart of the Sologne.
A campsite which makes waves…
The Les Alicourts campsite may be proud of its facilities, worthy of the loveliest coastal campsites! It boasts a great water park, with a huge wave pool, a paddling pool for children, water slides and toboggans. You can also swim in a 600 m² covered pool, heated to 28° C!
The well-being of the residents is also very important at this high range establishment proposing a balneotherapy area with a sauna, a hammam, whirlpools and a hydrotherapy trail. Tourists can also join the spa on this campsite in Sologne for a relaxing holiday. It features different cubicles for dry or wet treatment and alone or as a couple. It also has a private whirlpool with the water heated to 33° C, a herbal tea room and a patio garden...
In the middle of the campsite, the 6-hectare lake is the perfect place to do various water sports activities. You can safely access the water from the sandy beach to go swimming, but you can also practice canoeing, kayaking, water biking or even water skiing! Finally, fishermen can also practice their favourite activity!
Les Alicourts has also a "baby paradise", three clubs for children and teens, a fitness room, sports fields, a skate park, a mini-kart circuit and even a 9-hole golf course!
A stay for unwinding and relaxation in the Sologne
Les Alicourts, located in Pierrefitte sur Sauldre, a village midway between Orléans and Vierzon in the Centre region, enjoys the tourist appeal of its area: the Sologne. This region, covered with forests and ponds, and crossed by numerous streams, can be considered one of the wildest and most natural places in France. A paradise for fishermen and hunters, this region is also an ideal holiday destination for nature lovers and people looking for peace, quiet and fresh air.
The Sologne, crossed by the Cher River, an affluent of the Loire, is a neighbouring region of the Val de Loire. This proximity enables guests from Les Alicourts to easily travel to Chambord, Cheverny, Blois, La Ferté Saint-Aubin, Chaumont or even Amboise. Cities housing some of the most beautiful castles of the Loire.
Even if it's not part of this category, the castle of Lamotte-Beuvron is a must-see for campsite guests. Located less than 20 minutes from the campsite, it is famous for having been the property of the Emperor Napoleon III. He turned it into one of the most beautiful residences in the region, and the forest that surrounds it has long been considered as the region's best hunting territory.
