100 hectares of heavenly countryside...
Open throughout the year, the Corsican naturist campsite, Bagheera, accommodates you halfway between Bastia and Porto-Vecchio, on the eastern coast of the ‘Isle of Beauty’. This campsite is both a holiday village and an open-air hotel. You can pitch your tent, or install your caravan or camper van on spacious shaded pitches, or hire a mobile home or indeed even the delightful and luxury villas.
The Bagheera campsite nestles at the heart of a wooded 100-hectare campsite. On the waterfront, the eucalyptus forest in which this establishment nestles, proves to be a genuine piece of heaven on earth. The naturist beach running alongside it, the warm white sand of which stretches over nearly 3 kilometres, gently shelves down into the warm and transparent waters of the Mediterranean.
It is therefore in this enchanting setting that holidaymakers are enticed to come and rest, relax and have fun in the altogether! On-site, they can settle in on spacious pitches. Numbering 250, these are generous in size, and all have optional access to an electricity supply. Moreover, water points are located in the 5 bathroom installations spread over the campsite. As campers wish, these pitches can be shaded, semi-shaded or even, on the contrary, entirely in the sunshine...
With direct access to the beach...
Moreover, various ranges of chalets and mobile homes are established on the Bagheera campsite. According to their size and configuration, between 1 to 6 people can put their bags down there. Amongst these holiday rentals, there are some which have a view over the Mediterranean Sea!
Lastly, it is also possible to hire villas and “mini-villas” within this Bravone campsite. These each have a covered terrace and offer holidaymakers an even more superior level of comfort.
Open from May to September, the restaurant with a panoramic view, on Bagheera, overlooks the Mediterranean and accommodates campsite holidaymakers for breakfast, as well as for lunch and their evening meal. After 10 p.m. It is possible to order cold dishes, platters and sandwiches. The restaurant kitchen offers Corsican specialities, local produce, gourmet dishes and fish, depending upon the availabilities on a given day!
It is worth noting that the large restaurant terrace, the surface area of which exceeds 200 m², that opens onto the sea and is delightfully fitted out, accommodates concerts and dance evenings during the campsite season.
Under the sunshine on the ‘Isle of Beauty’
Besides the restaurant, there are many other services on offer to holidaymakers. The Bagheera campsite thus has a snack-bar and even a well-being space. Perfect to deeply relax and enjoy your holiday, this facility consists of a massage area. What a pleasure to have a massage opposite the Mediterranean and to the sound of the cicadas!
Moreover the menu of activities and entertainment is highly varied on the Bagheera campsite. During the campsite season, every evening from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. a sports session, for example, mixing Yoga-Pilates and stretching is on offer.
The campsite has a large number of sports and leisure facilities, such as a fitness trail, ping-pong tables, an area for playing boules, a basketball court, a handball court and a beach volleyball court and, from the beginning of the 2018 season, a large-sized trampoline, for both children and adults.
Youngsters, quite rightly, can have fun on the open-air playground or even take part in the free workshops on offer to them during the high season. Accessible to those aged 4 to 12, these workshops take place in the morning and the afternoon until 4 p.m. Hand crafts and plastic arts can have the opportunity to be in harmony with nature and ecology, two themes which are very dear to the Bagheera campsite.
To preserve the enchanting natural setting into which this campsite fits, the teams on Bagheera have adopted a responsible environmental approach: this involves uncut endemic vegetation, using organic products and electric cars, priority being given to solar heating and other environmentally friendly initiatives. This is ideal for spending a wonderful naturist holiday in Corsica!
