The Kamp Galeb campsite is situated in Omiš, a seaside resort located to the south of Split and overlooking the island of Brač, along the Dalmation coast. Dominated by a famous fortress, this campsite is located by a superb beach and offers its holidaymakers excellent resort conditions…
A campsite by the beach
Located 25 kilometres from Split, Kamp Galeb enjoys one of the most idyllic surroundings. A waterfront campsite in Omiš, it runs alongside a superb sandy beach, and is located at the mouth of the Cetina, a coastal river 105 kilometres long, and whose source is one of the most beautiful nature sites in Croatia.
The town of Omiš is a port in Dalmatia, occupying a strategic position on the coast. It successively passed into Turkish, Venetian, Hungarian, Austrian and even French hands, during the time of Napoléon Bonaparte. Nowadays it has numerous traces of these various occupations, such as the two high towers which dominate it as well as the Fortica, built on a rocky peak 262 metres above sea level.
The campsite occupies wooded and delightfully maintained grounds of a few hectares running alongside the sea. Adjoining the beach, numerous mobile homes enjoy a terrace offering their occupants a unique and panoramic viewpoint over the Adriatic Sea, and offshore the island of Brač. Some of this accommodation even has a private Jacuzzi and air conditioning, luxury facilities, and enables you to enjoy your holiday in Dalmatia, as you should.
An idyllic holiday resort 25 kilometres from Split

This beach gently disappears into the waters of the Adriatic Sea. This makes it even more popular for families with young children. As with the vast majority of beaches in the country, the water is pure and of excellent quality.
Although you can swim or simply sunbathe, numerous sunbeds and parasols being available on the sand, the beach on this establishment is also a place where you can practise numerous nautical activities. During your stay on the Kamp Galeb campsite, you are thus able to make the most of the neighbouring Windsurf school, and the hire service for surf boats, jet skis, pedalos and sea kayaks.
Amongst the various sports and recreational facilities on the Kamp Galeb campsite, there are two tennis courts (with lighting to even be able to play here at night!), a football pitch covered with artificial grass, a beach volleyball court, a children’s play area, table tennis tables, as well as a climbing wall! Moreover, a swimming pool has been put in by the beach.
A pool to cool down and relax

To meet the different needs of all guests, there are various shops and services on the campsite. These include the “Brguja Restaurant” by the beach. Moreover, about 100 metres from the site entrance is a supermarket.
