On this 5-star campsite in Fehmarn, the atmosphere proves to be warm, convivial and relaxing. There are diverse and varied accommodation options here. Pitches up to 260 m² for your tent, caravan or camper, hire of furnished caravans, equipped mobile homes, 50 to 90 m² apartments or holiday cottages. Once settled in, take your children to explore the campsite’s play areas or enrol them in the mini-club! The Wulfener Hals activity team accommodates children up to 12, for craft and painting workshops, sports activities, storytelling sessions, sea trips and preparing for the mini disco. The campsite even offers a babysitting service, so you can have a leisurely dinner as a couple!
It is now time to slip on your swimwear and rush off to the beach, for an afternoon’s swimming and idleness! Equally, if you’re so inclined, you can play beach volleyball, whilst your children indulge in building an impressive sandcastle! The campsite’s location by the sea and beaches enables you to treat yourself to a stand-up paddle boarding trip or beginners’ diving as well. At the end of the day, admire the sunset over the Baltic Sea with your significant other!
A superb golf course next to the campsite
Right near the campsite, the Golf Park de Fehmarn offers beginners the chance to play golf on the 9-hole golf course, whilst the most experienced with the best handicaps go round the 18-hole golf course, running alongside the Baltic Sea. Make the most of lunch or a gourmet break on the restaurant’s sun-drenched terrace, which enjoys a delightful view over the green!
On returning to the campsite, head for the heated swimming pool to do a few lengths, before sitting down on one of the sunloungers to read a book in the shade! At the end of the day, book the sauna to completely relax and unwind. You can also have a plant reflexology session., back massage or full body treatment, by making an appointment at the campsite reception.
For your meals, there are two restaurants on the Wulfener Hals campsite, in addition to a bistro cafe, ice cream seller, dance bar and bar specializing in a wide variety of beers. The “Seeblick” serves freshly caught fish, on a delightful terrace opposite the sea, whilst the “Wulfener Hals” places the emphasis on Italian cuisine with a wide choice of pasta dishes and delicious pizzas. At the “bistro” cafe, enjoy classic hamburgers and the must-see currywurst (sliced grilled bratwurst pork sausage with spicy curry sauce). In the evening, shows and live music concerts are on the programme!
The magnificent island of Fehmarn, the most sun-drenched in Germany!
The island of Fehmarn is an abundance of wild countryside, with an area of 185 km², linked to the mainland by the Fehmarnsund bridge, running alongside the Baltic Sea. The Puttgarden ferry terminal is worth a visit, giving the impression of being located on the open sea. Ferries leave from here every 30 minutes, bound for Copenhagen. The crossing is less than one hour.
There are no less than five lighthouses on the island! At 37 metres high, Flügge lighthouse is the only one able to be visited. 162 steps lead to the observation platform, which offers a magnificent panoramic view over the island and sea. All of the island’s churches are several hundred years’ old and have their own unique history and distinctive features.
You’ll also be able to spend delightful times as a family, in the aquarium, as well as both the windmill and agriculture and sea rescue museums. As for beaches, Gollendorf is heaven for surfers and kitesurfers, Bojendorf is divided into nudist and textile areas, whilst Gold is exceptionally beautiful. The water here is quite shallow, hence warmer and you’ll even find a restaurant.
