A countryside stay on a campsite near Provins and Disneyland Paris
Country Park Touquin, is a campsite close to Paris, which extends over 10 hectares of greenery in the shade of trees and near fishing lakes. This establishment offers pitches laid to lawn, marked out by hedges with a surface area of 100 to 150 m², laid out amidst trees and lakes. This Seine et Marne campsite has a water park consisting of two swimming and leisure pools, and a water slide to children’s greatest delight. All around this swimming complex, a sunbathing area and sunbeds await you so you can get dry in the sunshine or read quietly.
The campsite’s snack bar, “Marly”, is both a convivial location and meeting place for holidaymakers. By having something to eat here, you can enjoy a salad, pizza or hamburger, whilst exchanging great holiday ideas with your neighbours at the nearby tables. You can also order takeaways, eating them as a family on your holiday rental’s terrace or rustle up a picnic by one of the campsite’s multiple lakes.
Other services have been established to facilitate your stay at Touquin, such as a bread and sweetbreads and buns outlet, launderettte or the chance to book your tickets to Disneyland Paris or the Walt Disney Studios park at reception. Whilst children have fun in the playground, indoor play facility, trampoline or multi-sports ground, adults can play ping-pong, have a tennis match or yield to the bucolic pleasure of line fishing.

The perfect holiday resort, to go off to explore the capital, it takes less than an hour to reach the centre of Paris. Within a few days, the Eiffel Tower, the Champs-Elysées (an avenue with hotels and shops), the Jardin du Luxembourg (Luxembourg Gardens) and the famous Louvre museum will no longer hold any secrets for you. Don’t forget to go round the Montmartre district, to admire the Sacré-Cœur basilica and have your portrait done in the Place du Tertre square, before finishing with a trip on a bateau mouche river boat, to contemplate Notre Dame Cathedral from the Seine.
Located only 30 kilometres from the largest theme park in Europe, it is fruitless to take the car and pay parking charges, a bus comes past to pick you up five minutes’ walk from the campsite, taking you to the heart of this amazing leisure complex. You can buy tickets at reception and go off to explore the five worlds which make up the wonderful Disneyland Paris park. Discoveryland and its famous “Spacemountain”, “Fantasyland”, ”Adventureland”, ”Frontierland” and ”Main Street”.
Neither should you miss spending a day in the medieval town of Provins, located 30 minutes drive from Country Park Touquin. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it will amaze you with its old-fashioned charm and historic buildings. To go across the ramparts, take the Saint-Jean gateway and lose yourself in the little alleyways with half-timbered houses. Visit the town’s underground passages before attending a horseback falconry show, which will transport you to the Middle Ages. Don’t forget to enjoy a delicious rose ice cream, before hitting the road to return to Touquin!
