Located in Alghero, to the north-west of Sardinia, between small sandy creeks and an impressive nature reserve, this 4-star campsite guarantees you an idyllic experience. Once settled in, village guests only need go a few metres to reach the heavenly sandy and pebble creek adjoining the campsite. On-site, they can make the most of a private area (extra and upon booking), equipped with comfortable sunbeds, parasols, restaurant area and even showers. Namely in contrast the beach also has a free area, where you can lay out your towel to get a tan or swim!

Torre del Porticciolo is one of those holiday resorts specially designed for families! It has a multitude of leisure facilities for young and old alike, but also a particularly packed entertainment programme. Children can in particular take part in numerous activities, such as creative workshops, make-up sessions or magic shows, run by multilingual activity leaders! Meanwhile parents will be able to indulge in long hikes to discover the magnificent Porto Conte Regional Natural Park.
This campsite also has numerous services and amongst them is one holidaymakers most enjoy: the restaurant. This offers local cuisine, equally plentiful and delicious, focused around grilled specialities - both fish and meat. Every Saturday from the end of July for the entire month, the campsite team organizes themed evenings with convivial meals in its restaurant. These meals are made from suckling pig and Sardianian cheeses. On these occasions, the restaurant also offers seadas (little pastries filled with Pecorino cheese and lemon zest which is deep fried and drizzled with honey) - a little dessert, typical of the region.

To fully make the most of the magnificent scenery that Sardinia offers, this 4-star campsite has a superb beach bar available for campers. The latter offers a panoramic view over the crystal-clear and glistening waters of the Mediterranean. In this bar, you can also hire kayaks and stand-up paddle boards, to go off and explore the Porticciolo bay and all the small creeks it has in store.
The seabeds around this large Mediterranean island are truly remarkable, and you can go all around them when scuba diving! The campsite has an agreement with the Natural Park’s diving centre. The latter will pick up those wishing to dive, at the campsite entrance and take them diving. They will have an exceptional experience, swimming around the red corals and visiting the submerged caves…In addition, each week the Torre del Porticciolo team organises free trips, yoga sessions at sunset on the promontory in front of the tower, and various kayak trips!
Torre del Porticciolo is also not far from the centre of Alghero, a small character town particularly acknowledged for its historic town centre and delightful cobblestone alleyways! It abounds in amazing buildings, such as the Santa Maria cathedral and its blend of architectural styles and the San Michele church, partially covered in faience tiles. Be aware that part of the town is surrounded by ramparts, which you can walk around!
