Toscana Bella Camping Village, a luxury campsite on the Etruscan coast
The Toscana Bella Camping Village campsite awaits you in Vada, a seaside resort on the Etruscan Coast in Tuscany. Having recently become part of the Sandaya group of high-end campsites, this establishment occupies a pine forest, a few hundred metres from the beach. There is a lovely swimming pool here, as well as a wide choice of holiday rentals.
A campsite 700 metres from a heavenly beach
Toscana Belle Camping Village enjoys a most idyllic setting. It occupies a pine forest of around 10 hectares, providing shade and cool areas in a sun-drenched region! Not far from here, 700 metres away to be precise, the Vada coastline comprises a succession of beaches, offering optimum conditions for swimming and idleness. On some of these beaches, private clubs offer holidaymakers sunloungers and parasols, as well as ice creams and various refreshments throughout the entire summer. Worth noting that in the high season, a shuttle service linking the campsite and beach is available!
On-site, holidaymakers have the choice of three accommodation options: comfortable holiday rentals, more out-of-the-ordinary glamping tents and spacious pitches, with a surface area which can reach up to 110 m²! In total three sanitary blocks are available in this area, bringing together camping and caravanning pitches, intended to accommodate tents, caravans, campers and converted vans.
For increased comfort, holidaymakers can choose from around 10 ranges of accommodation. Dependent on their size and layout, they can accommodate from 4 to 6 people and most even welcome pets. All have a covered terrace, enabling you to enjoy the benefits of life in the great outdoors!
A heated swimming pool, quality services and facilities
On this campsite in Tuscany, a multitude of services and facilities are on offer to you. Amongst them, a large, lovely swimming pool, heated to 28°C throughout the entire season. Part of the pool is shallow, enabling children to have fun in the water under their parents’ watchful eye. Around the swimming pool, the sunbathing area is equipped with numerous sunloungers, for those wishing to rest after swimming, read a book in the sunshine and get a suntan.
On-site, there is also a children’s playground, as well as a volleyball and basketball court. Activities (whether or not sports-based) are on the season’s programme, for young and old alike. Come the evening, concerts and shows take place, so holidaymakers can have fun and dance to the beat of the best sounds of the summer!
For something to eat, or quite simply having a lovely time in good company over a drink, go to the Toscana Bella bar restaurant. The menu consists of pizzas but also traditional Tuscan dishes, served at the table in the restaurant or on the large terrace. The bar terrace is opposite the swimming pool. Open from 8 a.m. in the morning, moreover the bar offers a breakfast service with sweet delicacies!
The loveliest cities in Tuscany await you
Make the most of your stay on the Toscana Bella Camping Village campsite to discover some of the best cities in Tuscany. Livorno, Siena, Florence and Pisa are amongst the treasures of the region, and are all located less than an hour and a half’s drive from the campsite. Discover Florence for a day, strolling in the streets and alleyways of the city centre, such lovely and famous gems as the dome of the Duomo (Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral), Uffizi gallery, or even the Piazzale Michelangelo square.
Siena is another major tourist destination in Tuscany. Amongst the treasures it houses which you can visit, the Piazza del Campo square, cathedral, Piccolomini library and San Galgano abbey. In Pisa, although the Leaning Tower is an icon, indeed one of the most photographed in the world, the city is home to other wonders such as the Piazza dei Miracoli square, the Duomo (Santa Maria Assunta cathedral) and Baptistry. Livorno is the closest large city to Vada. This is 36 kilometres from the Toscana Bella campsite. Amongst the must-sees here, the Terrazza Mascagni terrace, the Sanctuary of Montenero (Our Lady of Grace) shrine or even the Piazza della Repubblica square! Lastly, in the Piombino area, be sure to visit the Baratti and Populonia archaeological park. This enables you to discover the remains of the ancient Etruscan and Roman city of Populonia.
