A family-oriented campsite by the Adriatic Sea
Perfectly nestling between the artificial lake of the Altanea park and the beach of the same name, this establishment has succeeded in the daring bet of offering you a stay with a change of scenery, whilst making you feel at home. This campsite with a human dimension enables your children to leap safely between your accommodation, the water park with its pools adapted for each age group, the snack bar, the grocery and the sports grounds.
The beach, which runs alongside the campsite, is only located 200 metres from the site. You will be able to go there on foot, or if the rubber rings, towels and various beach games get in your way, by free tourist train.
The types of accommodation offered are varied and adapted to everyone’s wishes: traditional camping and caravanning pitches, with mains water connection and electricity, or with the added comfort of a kitchenette and a private bathroom (Airone range). Mobile homes are equipped with 1 to 3 bedrooms and an outdoor terrace, to have your meals in the great outdoors. Or you could have a safari tent with a garden furniture set to discover the delights of “Glamping”.

During the school holidays, the mini club will accommodate your children every day (except Saturday) for arts and crafts, sports and especially fun activities, for younger children and teenagers alike. Just before walking on the vast stretch of sand on the Altanea beach, you will discover the sports grounds made available to you by the campsite team. You will have plenty of time to work on your three-point baskets on the basketball court, improve your cardio fitness on the football pitch, have tennis lessons, perfect your beach volleyball serve, or quite simply practise ping-pong!
Having made the most of the sports facilities on-site, you will have the pleasure of diving into the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic Sea. The water there is deep, and swimming is monitored by lifeguards. You will take delight in a good relaxing and refreshing bath, before stretching out on the warm sand. If you wish for greater comfort, sun loungers and parasols are offered for hire.
Your kids have still not had their fill of activities? Take them to hurtle down the slopes, on the slides and the multi-slides of the “Aquafollie” park. You then definitely deserve time just for you. Go to reception to book your golf games at the Golf Pra’ delle Tori golf course, and benefit from a reduction to go and improve your swing on this magnificent 18-hole golf course overlooking the sea.
Experience la dolce vita just a stone’s throw from Venice
The Marelago campsite is located in the town of Caorle, quite rightly nicknamed “the Pearl of the Adriatic”. This picturesque village will immediately appeal to you, thanks to its magnificent historical centre, and its vast sandy beach. You will fall under the spell of the small houses with colourful facades, which line the alleyways. Go by the port and watch the return of the fishing boats. You will be able to buy fresh fish straight from the port.
On Saturday morning do not, under any circumstances, miss the local market and fill up with lots of delights of Italian gastronomy. In the afternoon, sunbathe on the beach and, at the end of the day, stroll in the alleyways. Make a few purchases and come pre-dinner drinks, sit down to enjoy a Spritz, before devouring a delicious pizza.
Your stay in the Veneto will also be the opportunity to go and discover the Padua cathedral, and of course Venice, the Serenissima. Go to Punta Sabbioni to take the water bus (“Vaporetto”), which will take you to St Mark’s Square in 30 minutes. You will simply marvel at the “ballet of the gondolas” on the canals, the Rialto bridge and passing the Doges’ Palace.
