Isamar Holiday Village - a luxury campsite in Chioggia
An exceptional campsite located in Isolaverde, a seaside resort in the Venice region in the town of Chioggia, Isamar is one of Italy’s loveliest open-air hotels. Rated 5-star, this establishment has considerable benefits to delight holidaymakers, starting with its direct beach access and its aquatic complex comprising no less than 6 swimming pools, one of which is Olympic-sized!
A luxury holiday on this campsite, close to Venice
Located in the Isolaverde di Chioggia lagoon in the province of Venice, the Isamar Holiday Village campsite is a genuine village of 35 hectares, nestling along the Adriatic Sea. This 5-star establishment will delight children and adults alike, thanks to the variety of recreational, sports and aquatic activities on offer, as well as by its tailored accommodation offering, so as to meet all needs.
You will be surprised by the magnificent water park in the village: there are no less than 8 swimming pools to work on your breast-stroke, hurtle down the water slides and the racer slide, splash about with your little ones in the paddling pool or relax in the hydromassage baths. During snack time, you will enjoy the freshness of the infamous and creamy Italian ice creams, and come the evening, you’ll meet your friends at the “Blu-O” for a drink at the pool bar.
Whilst enthusiasts of idleness will bask on their sunloungers by the pool or read on the campsite’s private beach, sports enthusiasts will be able to unwind in the gym, have a step, Zumba or aquaerobics class, play tennis, sweat during beach volley, try archery and attempt stunt tricks at the skatepark. Unless, that is, they prefer an initiation in sailing, scuba diving, windsurfing or canoeing.
Whilst your children are having fun with their new friends who they met at the “Mini Club” (aged 4 to 10) and the “Junior Club” (aged 10 to 17), you will be able to shop at the supermarket, give yourself a treat in the shop and discover souvenirs at the general store. However, you will especially finally have the chance to look after yourself at the beauty salon of the village with a hairdresser service, body and face treatments and relaxing massages.
A wide selection of accommodation for maximum comfort
At the Isamar Holiday Village campsite, you will be able to choose accommodation adapted to your needs: vast and shaded camping pitches or bungalows able to accommodate 4 to 10 persons, with a bathroom, a private terrace and an equipped kitchen. It is also possible to hire a designer apartment in the “Isaresidence Holiday Resort” residential complex renovated in 2021, and just a stone’s throw from the sea. You will thus make the most of 2 swimming pools, sunbeds set aside on the beach for you, and the delightful restaurant “Ai Tamarici” for a more intimate, peaceful and quiet stay.
For your taste buds, no less than 5 restaurants await you, to enable you to discover the gems of Italian cuisine. You will taste meat and grilled fish at the “La Cabana”, and dine on the shaded terrace of the “l’Ombretto” or on the waterfront at the “Genoa” beach restaurant and bar. Or maybe you will be tempted by a delicious pizza in a convivial and festive atmosphere at the “Dancer”, before attending a show at the “Tenda” theatre, then go and sway your hips in the discotheque on the site!
For those not thinking of spending a few weeks without their pet, Isamar Holiday Resort has everything planned. Dogs on leads can accompany you everywhere (except in the water park and the supermarket), and an area with sunloungers, parasols and a shower is specially set aside on the beach for them, as well as a play area and obstacles. Hence, they can also have a lasting memory of their stay.
The Veneto, one of Italy’s loveliest gems
Hire your bikes directly from the campsite and go off to discover the delightful fishing village of Chioggia, also called “Little Venice”. You will be surprised by the similarities with the beautiful city of Venice: its canals, its small alleyways and the 7 bridges which span the Vena canal, but with far fewer tourists. Here there are no gondolas, but little boats so as to go under the Vigo bridge before strolling on the “Corso del Popolo”, lined with churches and magnificent residences. Those passionate about archaeology will go and explore the Museo Civico della Laguna Sud museum, whilst gourmets will fill up on local specialities and seasonal produce at the village market.
In the vicinity of the site, you will also find a golf course and a riding school. For those who dream of the going all over the city of the doges, the campsite organises excursions to Venice by boat from the port of Chioggia. There you have the Piazza San Marco (St Mark’s Square) and its magnificent basilica, the Doge’s Palace, the Rialto bridge and Spritz cocktails on the terrace.
Slightly further north, you will also be able to go around the magnificent historic city of Padua (known as Padova in Italian). Bordering the Bacchiglione river, admire the Sant’Antonio basilica, sampling a Ristretto (a short shot of more highly concentrated espresso) on the Piazza dei Signori square and cross the largest square and botanic garden in all of Italy and Europe: the Prato della Valle, being 90,000 m2, with its canal and its statues of renowned figures. Next, you can rest in the “Giardini dell’Arena” park, before discovering the magnificent frescos within the monumental “Capella degli Scrovegni” chapel. Do not simply stop with its banal external appearance. Enter and allow yourself to get carried away by the details and colours of the masterpieces by the painter Giotto.
