A campsite with a panoramic view over Lake Garda
The town of Bardolino, in the Province de Verona in the Veneto region, is located on the eastern shore of Lake Garda. Whilst the western shore is distinguished by an absence of relief, the eastern shore is more undulating. It is here on a property landscaped on graduated terraces by the water, that the La Rocca campsite is located.
This enjoys one of the most delightful locations and settings. The layout in graduated terraces, enables it to offer its holidaymakers a panoramic view over the magnificent Lake Garda. Green and maintained as appropriate, this top-of-the-range campsite has pitches able to accommodate tents, caravans and campers, as well as a wide choice of holiday rentals.
These take the form of mobile homes, Coco Sweet tents, and studio flats and apartments which are permanent structures. An establishment on a human scale, the 38 mobile homes and 5 apartments on the La Rocca campsite can accommodate, dependent upon their area and layout, couples just as easily as families or groups of friends. Please note that each rental features its own barbecue and all are well equipped, offering their occupants the possibility of only bringing the bare minimum on holiday.
An exceptional holiday in Bardolino
The 200 camping and caravanning plots laid out on this luxury campsite on Lake Garda enjoy an average surface area of 80 m². All of them have a 4-amp electrical connection, with some having the possibility of going up to 6 amps. Pets are allowed here and each pitch can accommodate up to a maximum of 6 people.
To ensure everyone’s well-being, a multitude of services are on offer to holidaymakers on the La Rocca campsite. Amongst these the presence of some shops on-site must be pointed out, such as a mini-supermarket, a restaurant and a snack bar – bar. All three are located close to reception.
The other services on this outdoor establishment on Lake Garda, include Wi-Fi coverage in some areas, a launderette with washing machines, tumble dryers and electric irons, several sanitary facilities, a security and first aid service and other such amenities.
The Beach and the swimming pool - the best of both worlds!
The La Rocca campsite has two lovely aquatic parks. The first is located at the northern end of the campsite. It consists of two pools including a very large 300 m² swimming pool for adults, and a smaller 96 m² children’s pool with a play facility. A large water slide as well as a splash pad for children, with no depth for increased safety, complete this first complex.
The second water park is more recent. Here there is a large rectangular swimming pool with a variable depth, as well as a smaller children’s pool. Around the swimming pool, a large sunbathing area invites tourists to idleness. There are numerous sunbeds and parasols.
Many other leisure and sports facilities are also present on La Rocca. For example the site is home to a large football pitch (grass surface), a tennis court, a beach volleyball court, an archery range, ping-pong tables, a gym and other facilities.
A highly lively campsite during the high season, La Rocca offers holidaymakers who wish to the chance to take part in many activities. These may just as easily be sports (tournaments, aquaerobics sessions, muscle stretching and other activities) as fun (shows, dances and other similar activities) or even cultural (trips out, canoe or kayak trips on the lake, Italian lessons and others). Certainly plenty to have a great stay on the sun-drenched shores of the majestic Lake Garda.
