Go green camping in the heart of this environmentally sustainable campsite! Since 2001, the Camping La Quercia campsite has had the ISO 14001 certification for environmental protection. This award encourages the implementation of positive day-to-day initiatives, to protect the surrounding countryside and reduce the campsite’s consumption. Plants are treated using organic fertilizers, the electricity for the entire campsite comes from renewable sources, solar panels have been put in, and waste sorting is automated in each area, with the installation of plastic compactors, etc.
This Lake Garda campsite offers holidaymakers a wide range of holiday rentals. From the luxury tents with the Glamping option to luxury bungalows having a modern design, their huge bonus being an open view over Lake Garda, to the Premium pitches. If you wish to bring your pet, some holiday rentals and pitches have been specially given over to accommodating them. On the gastronomy front, you will be served! To satisfy your cravings, 3 restaurant areas are spread across the campsite. The “La Terrazza” restaurant accommodates you in intimate and refined surroundings, to savour the best in Italian cuisine, opposite the sublime sunsets over Lake Garda. Located by the swimming area, the “Al Teatro” restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy delicious cocktails with grills, whilst watching musicals and shows offered by the activity team. Lastly, situated right on the private beach, the “Tiki Beach Bar” will quench your thirst with freshly squeezed juices prepared on-site.
Every day, a children’s club for youngsters aged 4 to 9 offers numerous play activities. There are craft activities and water play games planned, not forgetting the essential disco come nightfall. A water sports site near this outdoor establishment enables you to discover windsurfing! Thanks to the 4-star services on La Quercia, you’ll pamper yourself throughout your entire stay. The supermarket is well stocked every day with fresh products and produce (bread, sweetbreads and buns, vegetables, meat…), and dishes typical of Italian cuisine. For those who are preoccupied, the general store in the mini market will assist you, if you’ve forgotten your holiday essentials: inflatable mattresses, gas bottles, kitchen utensils, etc.
Lake Garda, Italy’s hidden treasure
By staying on the La Quercia campsite, you’ll have the chance to be near all the loveliest tourist attractions in northern Italy. The centre of Lazise being only 1 kilometre away, in no time at all you’ll be able to go and discover the historic quarter and its typical shops, the Castello Scaligero castle, not forgetting the Dogana Veneta church. As well as the medieval town of Lazise, there are other unique towns to visit, such as Sirmione and Bardolino.
Classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the famous city of Verona is only around 30 minutes from the 4 star campsite. Famed for having been the setting for Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, Verona is also an architectural wonder. Between the alleyways going from place to place, the impressive Santa Maria Matricolare (Blessed Virgin Mary) cathedral, and especially its Roman amphitheatre known for holding numerous concerts, thanks to its extraordinary acoustics. Perfectly preserved, this amphitheatre is open to the public.
During your Lake Garda stay, be tempted by a boat trip. Several landing stages located near the La Quercia campsite offer trips, ranging from 30 minutes to one day. It is the perfect opportunity to admire the diversity of landscapes which make up the surroundings of Lake Garda, and the most famous character locations in Italian history.
