Le Palme, a luxury campsite on the Riviera degli Olivi
Located in Pacengo, between Lazise and Peschiera del Garda on the eastern shore of Lake Garda, the Le Palme campsite offers the most attractive setting and holiday conditions close to the largest theme parks in Italy. Direct access to the lake, a wide selection of pitches and holiday rentals and a lovely aquatic park make Le Palme an exceptional campsite in the Province of Verona.
Le Palme, a campsite nestling under…palm trees
Designed on terraces, between the lake and the road linking Lazise to the north and Peschiera del Garda to the south, the Le Palme campsite is a high-end establishment with a particularly well-kept layout. Everything here inspires relaxation, letting go and fun. Nestling under the palm trees, from which it takes its name, this campsite is on the Riviera degli Olivi, the Italian nickname given to the eastern side of Lake Garda, owing to the numerous fields of olive trees found there.
Greenery is very much all around here, to the extent that the campsite appears to have been laid out in a park where attentive gardeners are bustling about here and there, looking after the trees and bushes, flowers and lawns. From pitches to holiday rentals on this establishment, tranquillity is everywhere and holidaymakers can simply make the most of the location to relax.
Le Palme offers two types of camping and caravanning pitches. The Standard pitches are equipped with electricity, mains water, a waste water system and, for some, a satellite television connection! The Lake pitches occupy the first two rows on the campsite by the lake, and all enjoy, in addition to the aforementioned services, a direct view over the lake.
Pitches and holiday rentals with commanding views over Lake Garda
Like these plots, some holiday rentals on the Le Palme campsite also enjoy this exceptional view over Lake Garda. This is particularly the case with the Beach Tents, glamping rentals able to accommodate up to 4 people. Mobile homes are also perfectly positioned to afford their occupants this view, whilst the other holiday rentals fit perfectly into the wooded and lush setting around them.
Enabling them to meet every holidaymaker need, the services offered by the Le Palme campsite are as many as they are varied. Thus we can mention a reception, a grocery, a restaurant – pizzeria, a bar along with a water park, a gym, a football pitch, a volleyball court, ping-pong tables and other facilities. In summer, a children’s club is open and musical entertainment is planned at the bar, especially in the evening at the weekends.…
One of the strong points of the Le Palme campsite is, without doubt, its geographical location. Bordering Lake Garda, it gives its residents direct access to the lake, and they can make the most of the beach which runs alongside it to swim, and the marina adjoining the campsite to hire pleasure craft for a day or a half-day to sail on the lake
A campsite in the heart of tourism activities
Barely 4 kilometres from Peschiera del Garda, holidaymakers can quickly go to this town, built and fortified by the Venetians and then by the Austrians. Surrounded by canals, Peschiera marks the southernmost point of Lake Garda, where its waters flow into the Mincio river. Behind its walls the pedestrian area enables the discovery of former residences with colourful façades, the ground floors being occupied by shops and restaurants.
The resorts of Sirmione and Lazise, also located close to the campsite, should in addition be discovered during your stay on Lake Garda. These two towns have a significant historical heritage, the first having been built on a peninsula occupied since Roman times, whilst the second is overlooked by the famous Scaliger castle.
Amongst the other must-sees of the area surrounding Le Palme, likely to be of interest to holidaymakers, are the theme parks. These are indeed numerous within the region. Examples are Gardaland (rides and activities for all ages), Movieland (film-based attractions) and CanevaWorld Resort (including a water park, movies and shows). All three are amongst the largest and busiest in Italy.
