You can take the ‘La Méditerranée à Vélo’ cycle route which, as the name suggests, enables you to pedal along the coast from Leucate to Argelès sur Mer, via Canet en Roussillon and Saint Cyprien. Four marked cycle trails leaving from Leucate enable magnificent rides with your family or friends, by the sea, along the cliffs and beside the lagoons. You can also visit Gruissan and Perpignan, and the listed medieval towns of Carcassonne and Narbonne (protected for their historical, architectural and cultural significance), as well as the fortresses in the Pays Cathare (Cathar Country).
