A holiday on a campsite between the Mediterranean Sea and the Camargue

You will first and foremost be charmed by the water park and its 3 separate areas to meet all of your needs: a heated swimming pool to work on your crawl, a further one to cool down, splash about, chat with friends or have an aquaerobics class, and a third which appeals more to your children with its water slide and 2 multi-slides. Around it, you will of course find sunbeds to read a book or have a siesta in the shade, as well as the snack bar “La Marine”, to have a drink or a snack, or enjoy an ice cream.

On-site, you will also find a restaurant, a pizzeria, a mini-market, a bread outlet, a newsagents and even a souvenir shop. You can hire a barbecue to prepare your own grills and hire bikes to explore the region. As regards accommodation, you can stay, as you choose, in fully equipped mobile homes with 1,2 or 3 bedrooms, and a private terrace with garden furniture, or even an ecological tent in canvas and wood, a perfect balance between the camping of yesteryear and the modern.

Only 2 kilometres from this establishment, the L’Espiguette beach, which has held the Blue Flag certification for 20 years, is one of the largest fine sandy beaches in Europe. Its fauna, flora and its magnificent dune massif make it a wild location to discover during your stay at the La Marine campsite. Infinite dunes, white sands, the golden light of the Mediterranean Sea: a genuine cinematic décor. Note that a shuttle service drops you off and brings you back free of charge, in July and August.

Activities and leisure as a family, just a stone’s throw from the seaside.

Your children will feel at home at the La Marine campsite, and will waste no time in making friends at the Maison du Topi children’s club. A spectacular activity team and no less than 3 kids clubs will welcome: “the Champions” aged 4 to 6, “the Winners” aged 7 to 9 and the “All-stars” aged 10 to 13 with on the menu a parade, a make-up workshop, and the production by the activity leaders of a photo story to immortalize all the delightful times spent at the Maison de Topi children’s club.

Once a week, the campsite has the “Topi Day” during which the leaders look after the children all day, even at lunchtime, enabling parents to treat themselves to a romantic escape, with complete freedom and with peace of mind.

Children will also be able to spend a special time with their parents during the “family morning” organized around a fun activity, such as a treasure hunt, Olympiads or a walk in a magical location.

Lastly, even teenagers aged 14 to 17 will be able to meet up and experience their holidays at their pace, taking part in the “Fun Time” and its activities off-campsite, such as quad biking or nautical activities. Every week, there is a “Party Time” evening organised just for them and the activity leaders, around a festive meal in a musical atmosphere.

For their part, adults can do a multitude of sports activities: muscle stretching and abs and glutes classes, and fitness and dance classes. There are also beach volleyball and pétanque tournaments, not forgetting table tennis, table football and billiards.

For those wishing to switch off and deeply relax, an oasis of well being of 160 m² and a Zen garden await you for an enchanted interlude. On the menu: a Jacuzzi, a sauna, a steam room, an area for massage and body and face treatment by qualified beauticians...Its tempting isn’t it?

The Hérault and the magnificent Occitanie region will hold no longer hold any secrets for you

The region abounds in treasures to discover when you go out of the campsite. A hundred metres away, you will stumble upon a riding club, and the chance of the horse ride in the marshes of the Petite Camargue area, and on the L'Espiguette beach. One kilometre away, there is a fishing lake, three kilometres away a mini-golf course, inflatable towed tubes, jet skiing and the opportunity for beginners’ fly boarding, or doing your first parachute jump. Ten kilometres from the campsite, there is a golf course and treetop adventure courses. Not forgetting the opportunity to go and explore the wonders and treasures of the Regional Park of the Camargue (a national park), its paddy fields, salt marshes, other marshland and its étangs (natural lakes) where you will see pink flamingoes, white horses (known as ‘grey horses’ in the equestrian sphere) and various herds of Camargue bulls.

Speaking of bulls, your stay will be the opportunity to go to a votive festival in the region, a time of convivial and warm sharing, with the sound of horseshoes, bulls’ hooves and pétanque boules.

Your holiday in the Hérault affords you the chance to discover the seaside resort of Le Grau-du-Roi and go and marvel at a masterpiece of ancient architecture: the Pont du Gard, the highest aqueduct in the world, reaching 49 metres.

Finally, you will be able to visit Montpellier, stroll in its historic streets and have a drink opposite the Opéra (the opera house) on the Place de la Comédie central square, or admire the Etang du Thau lagoon and attend a water jousting tournament in the seaside town of Sète. Unless, that is, you were wanting to discover the capital of the Camargue, where the famous painter Vincent Van Gogh lived: Arles, a ‘Ville d’Art et d’Histoire’ (recognizing the city’s rich heritage and cultural vitality), with Roman monuments listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Or even the city dubbed “The French Rome” for the wealth of its architectural heritage: Nîmes...
